Amendment of section 4 of Export Promotion Act, 1959. 2. Short title and collective citation. Acts Referred to Export Promotion Act, 1959 1959, No. 20 Export Promotion Acts, 1959 to 1980 Number 4 of 1983 EXPORT PROMOTION (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1983 AN ACT TO AMEND AND EXTEND THE EXPORT PROMOTION ACTS, 1959 TO 1980. [31st March, 1983] BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS: Amendment of section 4 of Export Promotion Act, 1959. 1.—The following subsection is hereby substituted for subsection (1) of section 4 of the Export Promotion Act, 1959 : “(1) (a) It shall be the duty of the Board to promote, assist and develop in any manner in which the Board considers necessary or desirable the exportation of goods and the provision of such services as are specified from time to time by order made by the Minister. (b) The Minister may by order amend or revoke an order under this section.”. Short title and collective citation. 2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Export Promotion (Amendment) Act, 1983. (2) The Export Promotion Acts, 1959 to 1980, and this Act may be cited together as the Export Promotion Acts, 1959 to 1983.
