Short title and commencement Acts Referred to Act Referred to Companies Act 2014 (No. 38) Number 10 of 2019 COMPANIES (AMENDMENT) ACT 2019 An Act to amend section 343 of the Companies Act 2014; and to provide for related matters. [11th April, 2019] Be it enacted by the Oireachtas as follows: Amendment of section 343 of Companies Act 2014 1. Section 343 of the Companies Act 2014 is amended— (a) in subsection (2), by the substitution of “56 days” for “28 days”, and (b) in subsection (3), by the substitution of “56 days” for “28 days”. Short title and commencement 2. (1) This Act may be cited as the Companies (Amendment) Act 2019. (2) This Act shall come into operation on such day or days as the Minister for Business, Enterprise and Innovation may by order or orders appoint either generally or with reference to any particular purpose or provision and different days may be so appointed for different purposes or different provisions.
