Number 2 of 1950. DEFENCE FORCES (TEMPORARY PROVISIONS) ACT, 1950. AN ACT TO CONTINUE THE DEFENCE FORCES (TEMPORARY PROVISIONS) ACTS, 1923 TO 1949. [8th March, 1950.] BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS:— Continuance of the Defence Forces (Temporary Provisions) Acts, 1923 to 1949. 1.—The Defence Forces (Temporary Provisions) Acts, 1923 to 1949, shall continue in force until midnight on the 31st day of March, 1951, and shall then expire. Short title and construction. 2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Defence Forces (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1950. (2) This Act shall be construed as one with the Defence Forces (Temporary Provisions) Acts, 1923 to 1949, and those Acts and this Act may be cited together as the Defence Forces (Temporary Provisions) Acts, 1923 to 1950.
