Act Referred to Trade Loans (Guarantee) (Amendment) Act, 1933 No. 10 of 1933 Number 4 of 1934. TRADE LOANS (GUARANTEE) (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1934. AN ACT TO AMEND THE TRADE LOANS (GUARANTEE) (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1933 , BY EXTENDING THE MEANING OF THE EXPRESSION “MANUFACTURING UNDERTAKING” IN THAT ACT AND TO GIVE EFFECT TO SUCH AMENDMENT AS FROM THE PASSING OF THE SAID ACT. [1st March, 1934.] BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS OF SAORSTÁT EIREANN AS FOLLOWS:— Extension of the meaning of “manufacturing undertaking.” 1.—The expression “manufacturing undertaking” wherever it occurs in section 4 of the Trade Loans (Guarantee) (Amendment) Act, 1933 (No. 10 of 1933), shall, by way of extension of the meaning given to it by section 1 of that Act, include and be deemed always to have included an undertaking of which the principal or only object is the erection and equipment in Saorstát Eireann of dwelling-houses, including the acquisition and development of land for that purpose, and the said section 4 shall be construed and have effect and be deemed always to have had effect accordingly. Short title and citation. 2.—(1) This Act may be cited as the Trade Loans (Guarantee) (Amendment) Act, 1934. (2) The Trade Loans (Guarantee) Acts, 1924 to 1933, and this Act may be cited together as the Trade Loans (Guarantee) Acts 1924 to 1934.
