Amendment of section 7 of National Training Fund Act 2000 2. Short title and commencement Acts Referred to National Training Fund Act 2000 (No. 41) Number 21 of 2025 NATIONAL TRAINING FUND (AMENDMENT) ACT 2025 Bill entitled An Act to make provision for the making of payments from the National Training Fund for certain purposes in respect of a scheme referred to in section 7 of the National Training Fund Act 2000 and for that purpose to amend that Act and to provide for related matters. [23rd December, 2025] Be it enacted by the Oireachtas as follows: Amendment of section 7 of National Training Fund Act 2000 1. Section 7 of the National Training Fund Act 2000 is amended by the insertion of the following subsection after subsection (2A): “(2B) Without prejudice to the generality of subsection (1), payments for any purpose specified in subsection (1) may include payments for the following: (a) the acquisition of lands, premises, furniture or equipment; (b) the upgrading, construction or reconstruction, including repair and maintenance, of premises.”. Short title and commencement 2. (1) This Act may be cited as the National Training Fund (Amendment) Act 2025. (2) This Act shall come into operation on such day as the Minister for Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science may, by order, appoint.
