SCHEDULE Acts Referred to Central Fund (Permanent Provisions) Act, 1965 1965, No. 26 Public Accounts and Charges Act, 1891 1891, c. 24 Telecommunications Capital Acts, 1924 to 1981 Number 26 of 1984 APPROPRIATION ACT, 1984 AN ACT TO APPLY CERTAIN SUMS OUT OF THE CENTRAL FUND TO THE SERVICE OF THE YEARS ENDED ON THE 31st DAY OF DECEMBER, 1980 AND THE 31st DAY OF DECEMBER, 1981, AND TO APPROPRIATE TO THE PROPER SUPPLY SERVICES AND PURPOSES SUMS GRANTED BY THE CENTRAL FUND (PERMANENT PROVISIONS) ACT, 1965 AND TO MAKE CERTAIN PROVISIONS IN RELATION TO CERTAIN BORROWINGS. [26th December, 1984] BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS:— Issue of £56,355 out of the Central Fund for the year 1980 and issue of £221,447 out of the Central Fund for the year 1981. 1.—The Minister for Finance may issue out of the Central Fund and apply towards making good the supply granted for the service of the year ended on the 31st day of December, 1980, the sum of fifty-six thousand, three hundred and fifty-five pounds and the supply granted for the service of the year ended on the 31st day of December, 1981, the sum of two hundred and twenty-one thousand, four hundred and forty-seven pounds. Appropriation of sums voted for supply services for 1984, viz., £6,155,662,620. 2.—(1) The sums granted by the Central Fund (Permanent Provisions) Act, 1965 , out of the Central Fund towards making good the supply granted, amounting in the aggregate to the sum of six thousand, one hundred and fifty-five million, six hundred and sixty-two thousand, six hundred and twenty pounds for the service of the year ending on the 31st day of December, 1984, are appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule annexed hereto. (2) In addition to the grants out of the Central Fund referred to in the foregoing subsection of this section, there may be applied out of any money directed under section 2 of the Public Accounts and Charges Act, 1891 , to be applied as appropriations-in-aid of the grants for the services and purposes specified in the Schedule annexed hereto, the sums respectively set forth in column (4) of the said Schedule amounting, as appears thereby, in the aggregate to the sum of four hundred and sixty-three million, one hundred and eight thousand, sixty hundred pounds. Charge on the Central Fund of terminable annuities issued under Telecommunications Capital Acts, 1924 to 1981. 3.—Any moneys due either as regards principal or interest, on foot of a terminable annuity created by the Minister for Finance under any provision of the Telecommunications Capital Acts shall, from 1st January, 1984, be charged on the Central Fund or the growing produce thereof. Short title. 4.—This Act may be cited as the Appropriation Act, 1984.
