DĖL LAIVO ŽURNALŲ FORMŲ IR JŲ PILDYMO BEI REGISTRAVIMO TAISYKLIŲ PATVIRTINIMO

Vadovaudamasis 1974 m. Tarptautinės konvencijos dėl žmogaus gyvybės apsaugos jūroje (SOLAS 74) su pakeitimais V skyriaus 28 taisykle, 1973 m. Tarptautinės konvencijos dėl teršimo iš laivų prevencijos, pataisytos 1978 m. protokolu (MARPOL 73/78), VI priedo 12 ir 14 taisyklėmis ir vykdydamas Lietuvos Respublikos susisiekimo ministro 2012 m. vasario 7 d. įsakymą Nr. 3-99 „Dėl pavedimo Lietuvos saugios laivybos administracijai“ (Žin., 2012, Nr. 19-897):
1. Tvirtinu pridedamus:
1.1. Laivo žurnalo formą 1A.
1.2. Laivo žurnalo formos 1A pildymo bei registravimo taisykles.
1.3. Laivo žurnalo formą 1B.
1.4. Laivo žurnalo formos 1B pildymo bei registravimo taisykles.
1.5. Laivo jėgainės žurnalo formą 2A.
1.6. Laivo jėgainės žurnalo formos 2A pildymo bei registravimo taisykles.
1.7. Laivo jėgainės žurnalo formą 2B.
1.8. Laivo jėgainės žurnalo formos 2B pildymo bei registravimo taisykles.
1.9. Laivo žurnalų registro formą.
2. Nustatau, kad:
2.1. Laivo žurnalo forma 1A pildoma visuose Lietuvos Respublikos jūrų laivų registre įregistruotuose laivuose, išskyrus laivus, kurių bendroji talpa yra mažiau kaip 300, bei žvejybos laivus, kurių ilgis yra mažiau kaip 24 m.
2.2. Laivo žurnalo forma 1B pildoma Lietuvos Respublikos jūrų laivų registre įregistruotuose laivuose, kurių bendroji talpa yra mažiau kaip 300, bei žvejybos laivuose, kurių ilgis yra mažiau kaip 24 m.
2.3. Laivo jėgainės žurnalo forma 2A pildoma Lietuvos Respublikos jūrų laivų registre įregistruotuose laivuose, turinčiuose vieną ar daugiau pagrindinių variklių, kurių bendras galingumas yra 750 kW ir daugiau.
2.4. Laivo jėgainės žurnalo forma 2B pildoma Lietuvos Respublikos jūrų laivų registre įregistruotuose laivuose, turinčiuose vieną ar daugiau pagrindinių variklių, kurių bendras galingumas yra iki 750 kW.
2.5. Laivo žurnalai bei laivo jėgainės žurnalai yra laivo dokumentai. Jie registruojami Laivo žurnalų registre, jų lapai sunumeruojami, surišami ir patvirtinami laivo antspaudu.
2.6. Laivo žurnalų registras registruojamas Lietuvos saugios laivybos administracijoje. Jo lapai sunumeruojami, surišami ir patvirtinami Lietuvos saugios laivybos administracijos antspaudu.
3. Nustatau, kad šis įsakymas įsigalioja nuo 2012 m. lapkričio 1 d.

Drills for the operating of the watertight doors, sidescuttles, valves and closing mechanisms of scuppers, ash-chutes and rubbish-chutes, inspection of the closing mechanisms and indicators.

Pagrindinio ir pagalbinio vairavimo įrenginio patikrinimas ir išbandymas; avarinio maitinimo, signalizacijos, aksiometrų, ryšių su vairine patikrinimas.
Check and test of the main and auxiliary steering gear, checking and testing of the emergency power supply, alarms, the rudder angle indicators in relation to the actual position of the rudder, the means of communication between the navigation bridge and steering gear compartment.

LAIVO ŽURNALO FORMOS 1A PILDYMO BEI REGISTRAVIMO TAISYKLĖS
Rules for keeping and registration of ship’s log book
1. Laivo žurnalas (toliau – žurnalas) yra pagrindinis oficialus laivo dokumentas, kuriame nepertraukiamai užrašoma laivo veikla.
Ship’s log book is the main official document of the ship, where ship’s activities shall be recorded continuously.
2. Šis žurnalas (forma 1A) pildomas kiekviename Lietuvos Respublikos jūrų laivų registre įregistruotame laive, kurio bendroji talpa yra 300 ir daugiau, bei žvejybos laive, kurio ilgis yra 24 m ir daugiau, nepriklausomai nuo to, kas yra laivo savininkas (valdytojas). Žurnalas pradedamas pildyti nuo to laiko, kada laive pakeliama valstybės vėliava, ir pildomas visą laiką, kol laivui nesustabdoma teisė plaukioti su valstybės vėliava.
Ship’s log book (form 1A) shall be kept in every ship registered in the Register of Seagoing Ships of the Republic of Lithuania of 300 gross tonnage and over and fishing vessel of 24 metres in length and over, regardless of who is the owner of the ship. Log book shall be kept in the ship from the moment the State flag is hoisted till the entitlement to fly the State flag ceases.
3. Žurnalas registruojamas Laivo žurnalų registre, suteikiant jam numerį. Visi žurnalo lapai sunumeruojami, įrišami ir patvirtinami laivo antspaudu.
Ship’s log book shall be registered in the Register of ship’s log books giving it a number. All pages shall be numbered, bound and sealed.
4. Užpildytas žurnalas laive saugomas trejus metus po paskutinio įrašo. Pasibaigus šiam terminui žurnalas perduodamas saugojimui į laivo savininko (valdytojo) archyvą.
Completed ship’s log book shall be retained on board ship for a period of three years after the date of the last entry. After the term it shall be archived by ship owner.
5. Už žurnalo tvarkymą bei saugojimą laive atsako laivo kapitonas. Už Laivo žurnalo pildymo bei registravimo taisyklių nesilaikymą, taip pat už tikrovės neatitinkančius ar melagingus įrašus žurnale atsakoma Lietuvos Respublikos įstatymų nustatyta tvarka.
A master is responsible for safekeeping of the log book. One who neglects to follow the Rules for keeping and registration of ship’s log book or makes false entries into the log book shall be liable pursuant to the order, established by the law of the Republic of Lithuania.
6. Įrašai žurnale daromi valstybine kalba. Jei laivas plaukioja tarptautiniais reisais, įrašai gali būti daromi anglų kalba.
Entries in log book shall be made in Lithuanian. Whereas on ships engaged on international voyages entries may be done in English.
7. Laivo žurnalą pildo budintis laivavedys. Savo užrašytą tekstą, jeigu reikia, jis gali pakeisti ir papildyti, o laivo kapitonas, jei jis tuo metu nevykdo laivavedžio funkcijų, – tik papildyti. Keičiamas arba nereikalingas tekstas užbraukiamas plona linija ir apskliaudžiamas taip, kad būtų galima jį perskaityti. Jeigu klaida pastebima berašant, teisingas tekstas rašomas tuojau pat po skliaustelių. Kitais atvejais – ten, kur yra laisvos vietos, tekste pažymint įrašo taisymo / papildymo buvimo vietą ir patį įrašą tuo pačiu skaitmeniniu ženkleliu. Įrašai ar prierašai patvirtinami žurnalą pildžiusio asmens parašu, laikantis tokios tvarkos:
- „įrašas klaidingas“ – jeigu klaidingo teksto nereikia keisti kitu;
- „skaityti taip:“ – toliau teisingas tekstas;
- „papildymas:“ – toliau papildomas tekstas.
Jeigu taisomi / papildomi jau užpildyti lapai, tai prie įrašo taisymo / papildymo po skaitmeninio ženklelio rašomas žurnalo puslapio numeris, pvz.: 3 / psl. 5.
Kitaip daryti taisymus ir papildymus draudžiama.
Ship’s log book shall be kept by a watch officer. He / she may amend or append his / her entry, if necessary, whereas a master of the ship if he / she is not on watch – just to append the entry. Incorrect text or unnecessary text shall be crossed and put into brackets in a way to be readable. If a mistake is made during writing, a correct text shall follow the brackets. Otherwise it shall be rewritten in an empty place, indicated by the same numeral as the place of the main entry. Amended or appended entry shall be signed by a person who made it, following the order:
- „false entry“ – when it is not necessary to change false text to another;
- „read as follows“ – then a correct text follows;
- „appendage“ – then appended text follows.
If already completed pages are amended / appended, a page number shall be written after the numeral indicating the place of amended / appended text and the main entry, for example: 3 / page 5.
It is forbidden to amend / append entries in some other way.
8. Navigacinio pobūdžio įrašus nustato laivo kapitonas, tačiau taip, kad pagal laivo žurnalo įrašus ir laivo kelio žymėjimą jūrlapyje, taip pat pagal fiksuojančius prietaisus būtų galima atstatyti laivo nuplauktą kelią. Laivo kelio žymėjimas jūrlapyje nepanaikinamas iki kito naudojimosi juo, o fiksuojančių prietaisų juostos (elektroniniai duomenys, kursogramos, echologramos, reversogramos, teletaipogramos ir kt.) saugomos laive trejus metus.
Entries of navigational activities shall be determined by the master however these activities must contain sufficient details to restore a complete record of the voyage (according to the entries in the log book, tracking in the nautical chart and sensing devices). Tracking in the nautical chart shall last till the next use of it, while tapes of sensing devices (electronic data, course diagrams, echo diagrams, reverse diagrams, teletype diagrams, etc.) shall be saved on board for three years.
9. Laivo žurnalas rašomas budėjimo metu vykstant veiksmui ar įvykiui arba po jų.
Entries into the log book shall be made during the watch while actions or events / incidents are going on or right after them.
10. Laivui artinantis prie sąsiaurio, uosto, rūko ribos ir t. t., nebūtina rašyti apie įprastų priemonių vykdymą. Galima apsiriboti užrašu: „laivas parengtas plaukiojimui sąsiauriuose (uosto vandenyse, blogo matomumo sąlygomis)“.
When ship approaches strait, port, mist zone, etc., it is not necessary to record ordinary measures taken. It may be limited to the entry: “ship is ready to sail in a strait (port area, poor visibility conditions)“.
11. Budintis laivavedys užrašus žurnale patvirtina savo parašu, nurodydamas savo pareigybę taip: vyresnysis kapitono padėjėjas – VKP; antrasis kapitono padėjėjas – 2KP; trečiasis kapitono padėjėjas – 3KP.
Watch officer shall confirm the entries made in the log book by signing and specifying his / her position in such way: chief mate – ChM, second mate – 2M, third mate – 3M.
12. Laivo kapitonas tikrina įrašus žurnale ir savo parašu tvirtina juos kiekvieno lapo gale.
The master of the ship shall control entries in the log book and confirm them by signing at the end of every page.
13. Įrašai žurnale daromi rašalu arba tušu.
Entries shall be made only by ink.
14. Jeigu užrašant nebūtina užpildyti 1–7 skilčių, tekstą galima pradėti nuo 2 skilties tuojau po 1 laiko skilties. Jeigu eilutės neužtenka, įrašą galima tęsti kitoje eilutėje taip pat pradedant nuo 2 skilties imtinai. 1 skiltis skirta tik laiko užrašymui. Kiekvienos paros įrašai pradedami naujame puslapyje. Likusi neužpildyta vieta už praėjusią parą užbraukiama ženklu „Z“.
If no information is necessary in columns 1–7, entry may be started from column 2 right after time column 1. If it is not enough space in the row, entry may be continued in the next row starting from column 2 similarly. Column 1 is only for time recording. Every day records shall be made in a new page. Blank space left in the page shall be crossed using symbol „Z“.
15. Ši žurnalo pildymo tvarka neapriboja kapitono ir budinčio laivavedžio teisės daryti bet kokius įrašus apie laivo kasdieninę veiklą, kurie, jų nuomone, gali turėti reikšmės ginant laivo, laivo savininko arba krovinio savininko interesus. Jokiems kitiems juridiniams arba fiziniams asmenims neleidžiama daryti įrašų laivo žurnale.
These ship’s log book keeping rules do not limit the right of a master and a watch officer to make other entries on ship’s everyday activities, which, to their mind, may be important for protecting the interests of ship, ship owner and / or cargo owner. No legal entity or person is allowed to make any records in the ship’s log book.
16. Rekomenduojama įrašų forma:
Recommended form of entries:
16.1. Pirma įrašų lapo skiltis skirta laikui, kuris užrašomas keturženkliu skaičiumi vienos minutės tikslumu. Valandos atskiriamos nuo minučių tašku, pvz.: 07.45.
First column is for time that shall be recorded as four-digit number with a resolution of one minute. Hours shall be separated from minutes using a dot. For example: 07.45.
16.2. Antra skiltis skirta girokompasiniam kursui, užduotam vairininkui arba nustatytam automatiniam vairavimo įrenginiui 0,5° tikslumu, pvz.: 305,5° arba 81°. Jeigu kursografas neveikia, užrašomi visi kursai, nenubrėžti jūrlapyje.
Second column is for course per gyro compass, set for steersman or fixed for automatic steering gear with a resolution to 0,5°. For example: 305,5° or 81°. If course recorder is off, all courses, which are not indicated in the nautical chart, shall be recorded.
16.3. Trečia skiltis skirta girokompasinio kurso paklaidai fiksuoti. Girokompasinio kurso paklaida fiksuojama periodiškai ir nustatoma vienos dešimtosios laipsnio tikslumu.
Third column is for a correction of course per gyro compass. It shall be recorded periodically and evaluated with a resolution of 0,1°.
16.4. Ketvirta skiltis skirta magnetinio kompaso kursams. Užrašomi kursai pagal pagrindinį magnetinį kompasą vieno laipsnio tikslumu.
Fourth column is for a magnetic course. Here shall be recorded courses according to the main magnetic compass with a resolution of 1°.
16.5. Penkta skiltis skirta magnetinio kompaso kurso paklaidai fiksuoti. Magnetinio kurso paklaida nustatoma po kurso pasikeitimo vienos dešimtosios laipsnio tikslumu.
Fifth column is for a correction of the magnetic course. The correction of the magnetic course shall be determined after course change with a resolution of 0,1°.
16.6. Šešta skiltis skirta laivo vietos koordinatėms užrašyti. Užrašomos geografinės koordinatės apskaičiuotos – phi?s, lambda?s arba observuotos – phi??o, lambda?o vienos dešimtosios laipsnio tikslumu, pvz.: 47°12’,9N 020°50’,3E. Koordinatės nustatomos ir užrašomos visais atvejais, kada laivo kapitonas ar budintis laivavedys laiko tai reikalinga, užtikrinant 8 punkto nuostatų vykdymą. Būdai ir metodai, kuriais nustatomos laivo vietos koordinatės, reikalingi paaiškinimai – orientyrų pavadinimai, apskaičiuotų ir observuotų vietų nesutapimas užrašomi 8 skiltyje.
Sixth column is for coordinates of ship’s position. Here shall be recorded geographical coordinates, which are calculated – phi?s, lambda?s or observed – phi?o, lambda?o with a resolution of 0,1°, for example: 47°12’,9N 020°50’,3E. Coordinates shall be determined and recorded in every case when master of the ship or watch officer decides that it is necessary enforcing requirements of the paragraph 8. All methods and techniques for determination of coordinates of ship’s position, necessary information – mark names, difference between calculated and observed positions shall be recorded in the column 8.
16.7. Septintoje skiltyje užrašomi laivo greitį matuojančio prietaiso (lago) parodymai vienos dešimtosios mazgo tikslumu.
Seventh column is for a speed measurement device (log) indications with a resolution of 0,1 knot.
16.8. Aštuntoje skiltyje užrašomi laivo gyvenimo eiga ir įvykiai. Šios skilties pradžioje užrašoma apie eigos ar stovėjimo budėjimo priėmimą (nurodant pavardę) ir eigos budėjimo perdavimą (pasirašant).
Ship’s life stages and activities / events shall be recorded in a column 8. The name of the person who is taking over watch and the signature of the person who is handing over watch shall be entered at the beginning of the column.
16.9. Dešimta skiltis skirta nuplauktam nuotoliui užrašyti (jūrmylėmis). Šioje skiltyje rašomas laikas, tikrasis nuotolis (ištaisytas lago pataisa) ir nuotolis pagal lagą (l2–l1). Nuotoliai užrašomi vienos dešimtosios jūrmylės tikslumu. Nuotoliai per parą, reisą užrašomi jau ištaisyti pataisa, t. y. tikri.
Tenth column is for a distance sailed (in nautical miles). Here shall be recorded time, actual distance (with log correction) and distance per log (l2–l1). Distances shall be recorded with a resolution of 0,1 nautical mile. Distances per day, per voyage shall be recorded with correction already, i. e. actual.
16.10. Dvylikta skiltis skirta vėjo krypčiai ir jo greičiui užrašyti. Vėjo kryptis užrašoma rumbais, o jo greitis – m/s, pvz.: WNW-12. Jeigu vėjas pasikeitė kitu laiku nei parašyta skiltyje ir tai turi įtakos laivui arba apskaičiuotam dreifui, tokiu atveju duomenys apie vėją užrašomi 8 skiltyje.
Twelfth column is for wind direction and speed. Wind direction shall be recorded in points of the compass and speed – in m/s, for example: WNW-12. If wind changes at the time different from the recorded time and this impacts the ship or the calculated drift, data on wind shall be recorded in the column 8.
16.11. Tryliktoje skiltyje užrašomas bangų arba vilnies kryptis 10° tikslumu ir jūros paviršiaus būklė balais, pvz.: 180°-7. Laivui stovint upėje arba uoste, rašoma „upė“, „uostas“. Esant ledui, rašoma raidė „L“, o balais išreiškiama, kokia dalis jūros paviršiaus padengta ledu, pvz.: L-6.
Thirteenth column is for the record of wave direction at a resolution of 10° and roughness of the sea surface in degrees of the scale, for example: 180°-7. When ship is in a river or in port, words „river“, „port“ shall be entered. In the case of ice letter „I“ shall be entered and area covered by ice shall be expressed in numbers, for example: I-6.
16.12. Keturioliktoje skiltyje atmosferos būklė ir matomumas užrašomi raidėmis ir jūrmylėmis (G – giedra, D – debesuota, A – apsiniaukę, M – migla, R – rūkas, L – lietus, S – sniegas, P – perkūnija, K – kruša), pvz.: K-2.
Fourteenth column is for atmospheric condition and visibility, entries shall be made in such way: letters for weather, visibility in nautical miles (B – for blue sky, C – cloudy, O – overcast, M – for mist, F – for fog, R – for rain, S – for snow, T – for thunder, H – for hail), for example: H-2.
16.13. Penkioliktoje skiltyje užrašomas atmosferos slėgis gyvsidabrio stulpelio milimetrais.
Fifteenth column is for atmospheric pressure (mmHg).
16.14. Šešioliktoje skiltyje užrašoma oro temperatūra (C°) vieno laipsnio tikslumu.
Sixteenth column is for an air temperature (C°) at a resolution of 1C°.
16.15. Septynioliktoje skiltyje užrašoma jūros paviršiaus temperatūra (C°).
Seventeenth column is for sea surface temperature (C°).
16.16. Aštuoniolikta skiltis skirta laivo triumų šulinių ir balastinių bei kitų vandens tankų matavimams užrašyti.
Eighteenth column is for the measurements of hold wells, ballast tanks and other water tanks.
16.17. Dvidešimta skiltis skirta budinčių jūreivių pavardėms užrašyti. Jeigu į tiltelį iškviečiama papildoma budėjimo pamaina, tai įrašas daromas 8 skiltyje.
Twentieth column is for the names of watch keepers. If additional shift is called on the bridge, this action shall be recorded in the column 8.
16.18. Aštuntoje skiltyje taip pat užrašomi duomenys, kuriems neskirtos specialios skiltys. Šie duomenys užrašomi kapitono nurodymu arba kai budintis laivavedys laiko tai reikalinga:
- laivo greitis VL rašomas, kai laivas plaukia be lago. Tikslumas – 0,1 mazgo, pvz.: VL = 12,4;
- eigos variklių režimas arba laivo sraigto apsisukimų skaičius per minutę, arba sraigto menčių posūkis;
- srovės elementai užrašomi kaip kryptis K ir greitis jūrmylėmis, pvz.: Ks = 105°, Vs = 1,2 ;
- navigacinių techninių prietaisų įjungimas ir išjungimas;
- pastovus laivo posvyris 1° tikslumu, nurodant, į kurį bortą laivas pasviręs (P – į kairįjį bortą, S – į dešinįjį bortą), užrašomas, kai posvyris pastebėtas. Artinantis prie seklių vietų arba prie uosto, įplaukiant į laivų taisymo doką, užrašomas laivo posvyris, taip pat ir nuosvyra, t. y. apskaičiuota ar nustatyta laivo gramzda priekiu ir laivagaliu metrais, pvz.: P – 2°; Tf – 3,9; Ta – 4,2; dA – 0,3;
- perėjimas iš vieno jūrlapio į kitą rašomas taip: „perėjimas į Nr. 48586“ (naujo jūrlapio numeris);
- navigacinių techninių prietaisų pataisos užrašomos jas nustačius, nurodant jų nustatymo būdą;
- krovos darbai užrašomi taip: krovininių triumų (tankų, talpų, denių) parengtis, krovos įrenginio parengtis, krovos darbų pradžia, jų eiga, baigtis, pertraukos, nurodant priežastis, krovos darbų vieta, duomenys apie iškrautų ar pakrautų krovinių kiekį, apie krovinio separavimą, tvirtinimą, apie nepritarimą stividoro arba agento veiksmams dėl krovinio, dėl laivo interesų, nurodant priežastis, kokių priemonių imtasi konfliktui spręsti, taip pat padarytą žalą kroviniui arba laivui.
Eight column is for the data for which there are no special columns. The data shall be recorded under direction of the ship’s master or when the watch officer decides that it is necessary:
- speed VL shall be recorded when ship sails without log. A resolution shall be of 0,1 nautical mile, for example: VL=12,4;
- mode of engines or ship’s screw rotations per minute, or turn of screw’s blades;
- flow elements shall be recorded as direction K and speed in nautical miles, for example: Ks = 105°, Vs = 1,2;
- on and off of navigational technical devices;
- steady list with a resolution of 1° indicating list direction (P – for port list, S – for starboard list), time of a noticed list shall be recorded. When approaching shallow areas or port, entering ship repair dock, shall be recorded ship’s list and overhang, i. e. calculated or measured ship’s forward draught and aft draught in metres, for example: P – 2°; Tf – 3,9; Ta – 4,2; dA – 0,3;
- transfer from one nautical chart to another shall be recorded in such way: „transfer to No. 48586“ (a number of a new chart);
- cargo handling shall be recorded in such way: preparedness of cargo holds (tanks, repositories, decks), preparedness of cargo handling device, start of cargo handling, its’ progress, completion, breaks, indicating reasons for, place of cargo handling, data on the quantity of cargo unloaded / loaded, data on cargo separation, securing, information on disagreement with the actions of stevedore or agent concerning cargo, concerning ship’s interests, indicating reasons for, means to resolve a conflict, damage made to ship / cargo.

17.1. Eigos budėjimui baigiantis užrašomi duomenys 1, 2, 4, 6–8 skiltyse.
At the end of the watchkeeping at sea data shall be entered in the columns 1, 2, 4, 6–8.
17.2. Stovėjimo budėjimo pabaigoje užrašomi duomenys: kur laivas stovi, laivo būklė, gramzda priekiu ir laivagaliu, kokie darbai, kokie krovos darbai atliekami, eigos variklio parengtis, kokios plaukiojančios priemonės stovi prie laivo borto, iškrautų (pakrautų) krovinių kiekis.
Jeigu budėjimo metu pasikeitimų neįvyko, užrašoma laivo gramzda ir toks sakinys: „stovime be pasikeitimų“.
At the end of a watchkeeping in port such data shall be entered: a place of ship at anchor or moored, a ship’s condition, forward draught and aft draught, activities, cargo handling in process, engine preparedness, crafts mooring ship’s side, quantity of loaded / unloaded cargo.
If no changes during the watch, ship’s drought shall be recorded and the sentence „in port without changes“ shall be entered.
17.3. Puslapio pradžioje užrašoma: metai, mėnuo, diena, plaukiojimo rajonas, iš kur, į kur plaukia laivas ir reiso numeris. Laivui stovint uoste – uosto arba reido pavadinimas.
At the beginning of the page shall be entered year, month, day, navigation area, ship’s voyage from / to, voyage number. While ship is in port, the name of port or road shall be entered.
17.4. Nurodomas skirtumas tarp Grinvičo laiko ir laivo laiko, pvz.: TL = TG + 4 val. Keičiant laiką pirmoje skiltyje rašomas senasis ir naujasis laikas, pvz.: 16.00/15.00.
The difference between Greenwich time and ship’s time shall be indicated, for example: TL = TG + 4 hr. When transferring time, the old and the new time shall be entered in the first column, for example: 16.00/15.00.
17.5. Plaukiant su locmanu užrašoma laivo vedimo pradžia ir pabaiga, locmano inicialai ir pavardė, locmano įlipimo į laivą ir išlipimo iš jo laikas.
When pilot is onboard ship the beginning and the end of pilotage, the initials and surname of the pilot, time of embarkation / disembarkation of the pilot shall be recorded.
17.6. Naudojantis buksyriniais laivais užrašomas jų atvykimo prie laivo ir nuplaukimo nuo jo laikas, vilkikų pavadinimai, buksyravimo būdas.
When tow-boats are used the time of tow-boats’ come and go, names of tow-boats, method of tow / tug shall be recorded.
17.7. Inkaravimosi darbų metu užrašoma: inkaravimosi darbų priežastis, kokiais inkarais inkaruojamasi, inkaravimosi būdas: numetant ar nuleidžiant inkarą (-us), inkaro grandinės sandūrų skaičius vandenyje, inkaravimosi vietos gylis, grunto rūšis dugne, kokie inkaravimosi ženklai, ar šviesos pakeltos (nuleistos), laivo gramzda priekiu ir laivagaliu, eigos variklių parengtis, pakeliant inkarą (-us) užrašoma, ar inkaras (-ai) „švarus (-ūs)“ (ar nėra užsikabinusių pašalinių daiktų).
During anchoring it shall be recorded: reason for anchoring, anchors in use, method of anchoring: throwing or lowering, number of anchor-chain links in the water, depth of the anchoring place, soil type at the bottom, signals of anchoring, are lights up (down), forward drought and aft drought of the ship, preparedness of engines, when heaving up the anchor(s) it shall be indicated whether anchor(s) is (are) clear.
17.8. Švartavimosi darbai užrašomi taip: prieplaukų numeriai arba pavadinimai, kokiu bortu švartuojamasi, kokiais švartavimosi lynais švartuojamasi, kokie inkarai panaudoti švartuojantis, laivo gramzda priekiu ir laivagaliu, laivo pasvyra.
Mooring activities shall be recorded indicating: number or name of berth / terminal, landing side, mooring lines used, anchors used, forward drought and aft drought of the ship, list of the ship.
17.9. Plaukiant laivų eismo reguliavimo (LER) zonoje užrašomas leidimo įplaukti į šią zoną gavimas, LER stoties suteikiamos paslaugos, jų pradžia ir pabaiga, įplaukimo ir išplaukimo iš jos laikas.
When sailing in ships’ traffic guidance area shall be recorded a receipt of permission to enter the area, services provided by ships’ traffic guidance station, the beginning and the end of services’ provision, entrance and leaving time.
17.10. Audros metu užrašoma laivo posvyris, siūbavimo periodas, kokių priemonių imtasi, siekiant apsaugoti krovinį, denio užpylimas bangomis, laivo hermetinimas, bangų smūgiai į laivą, priemonės įgulos saugumui užtikrinti.
During storm it shall be recorded ship’s list, period of rolling / pitching, measures for cargo protection taken, seas on deck, leak proofing of the ship, shock waves, measures to ensure crew safety.
17.11. Atsitikimai:
- gimimo atveju užrašoma kūdikio lytis, motinos vardas ir pavardė; mirties atveju užrašomas mirusiojo vardas ir pavardė, mirties priežastis (jeigu galima nustatyti), kam atiduoti mirusiojo palaikai arba vietos koordinatės, kur palaikai buvo palaidoti jūroje, mirusiojo testamento ir daiktų bei dokumentų perdavimas uosto vadovybei arba Lietuvos Respublikos konsului;
- nelaimingo atsitikimo atveju užrašomos priežastys ir aplinkybės, akto surašymo faktas;
- pagalbos jūroje nesuteikimo atveju smulkiai ir įtikinamai užrašomos priežastys ir aplinkybės, neleidusios suteikti pagalbos, kokie tiesioginiai pavojai tykojo laivo, jo įgulos, keleivių, kurių vengiant nebuvo suteikta pagalba.
Events:
- in case of birth a gender of a newborn, mother’s name and surname shall be recorded; in case of death it shall be recorded name and surname of a deceased, causes of death (if available), whom the body of the deceased was returned or coordinates of the place where the body was given to sea, transfer of the testament, documents and belonging of the deceased to the port authority or to the Consul of the Republic of Lithuania;
- in the case of incident / accident the reasons and circumstances shall be recorded, a fact of making an official act shall be entered;
- in the case of the denial of assistance at sea, convincing reasons and circumstances of the denial shall be recorded in detail, direct dangers for ship, crew, passengers, which were the reason for denial of assistance, shall be recorded, either.
17.12. Testamento patvirtinimo atveju užrašoma jo autoriaus pavardė, vardas, gimimo data, testamento surašymo data.
In the case of probate the first name, last name and birth date of the testament author and the date of probate shall be recorded.
17.13. Laivo parengimo išplaukti į jūrą atveju užrašoma: įgulos narių skaičius (įskaitant kapitoną), keleivių skaičius, kuro ir vandens atsargos, gramzda, krovinio rūšis ir kiekis, vairavimo įrenginio būklė, laivo stovumo parametrai, bendra laivo parengtis plaukiojimui.
While ship is being prepared for departure to sea it shall be recorded number of shop’s crew members (including master), number of passengers, fuel and water stores, drought, cargo type and quantity, condition of steering gear, ship stability parameters, general preparedness of a ship for sail.
17.14. Vadovavimo laivui perdavimo kitam kapitonui arba vyresniajam kapitono padėjėjui faktas užrašomas laivo žurnale. Šis užrašas patvirtinamas vadovavimą perdavusio ir vadovavimą priėmusio parašais, nurodant paros laiką.
The fact of hand over of the ship command to other master or chief mate shall be recorded in the log book. The entry shall be signed by the person who handed over the command and the person who took over the command indicating the time.
17.15. Įrašai 10, 12–17, 20 skiltyse daromi atitinkamai 9, 11 ir 19 skiltyse nurodytu laiku. 18 skiltis pildoma bent kartą per parą laivo kapitono nurodytu laiku.
Entries in the columns 10, 12–17, 20 shall be made accordingly at the time indicated in columns 9, 11 and 19. Entries in the column 18 shall be made at least once per day at the time pointed by the master.
18. Konvencijos SOLAS 74 su pakeitimais reikalavimų vykdymas registruojamas lentelėje (žurnalo gale). Detaliai reikalavimų vykdymas aprašomas 8 skiltyje.
Registration of compliance with SOLAS 74 requirements shall be done in the table (at the end of the log book). Detail information on the matter shall be provided in the column 8.

LAIVO ŽURNALO FORMOS 1B PILDYMO BEI REGISTRAVIMO TAISYKLĖS
Rules for keeping and registration of ship’s log book
1. Laivo žurnalas (toliau – žurnalas) yra pagrindinis oficialus laivo dokumentas, kuriame nepertraukiamai užrašoma laivo veikla.
Ship’s log book is the main official document of the ship, where ship’s activities shall be recorded continuously.
2. Laivo žurnalas (forma 1B) pildomas kiekviename Lietuvos Respublikos jūrų laivų registre įregistruotame laive, kurio bendroji talpa yra mažiau kaip 300, bei žvejybos laive, kurio ilgis yra mažiau kaip 24 m. Žurnalas pradedamas pildyti nuo to laiko, kada laive pakeliama valstybės vėliava, ir pildomas visą laiką, kol laivui nesustabdoma teisė plaukioti su valstybės vėliava.
Ship’s log book (form 1B) shall be kept in every ship registered in the Register of Seagoing Ships of the Republic of Lithuania of less than 300 gross tonnage and fishing vessel of less than 24 metres in length, regardless of who is the owner of the ship. Log book shall be kept in the ship from the moment the State flag is hoisted till the entitlement to fly the State flag ceases.
3. Žurnalas registruojamas Laivo žurnalų registre, suteikiant jam numerį. Visi žurnalo lapai sunumeruojami, įrišami ir patvirtinami laivo antspaudu.
Ship’s log book shall be registered in the Register of ship’s log books giving it a number. All pages shall be numbered, bound and sealed.
4. Užpildytas žurnalas laive saugomas dvejus metus po paskutinio įrašo. Pasibaigus saugojimo terminui žurnalas perduodamas saugojimui į laivo savininko (valdytojo) archyvą.
Completed ship’s log book shall be retained on board a ship for a period of two years after the date of the last entry. After the term it shall be archived by ship owner.
5. Už žurnalo tvarkymą bei saugojimą laive atsako laivo kapitonas. Už Laivo žurnalo pildymo bei registravimo taisyklių nesilaikymą, taip pat už tikrovės neatitinkančius ar melagingus įrašus žurnale atsakoma Lietuvos Respublikos įstatymų nustatyta tvarka.
A master is responsible for safekeeping of the log book. One who neglects to follow the Rules for keeping and registration of ship’s log book or makes false entries into the log book shall be liable pursuant to the order, established by the law of the Republic of Lithuania.
6. Įrašai žurnaluose daromi valstybine kalba. Jei laivas plaukioja tarptautiniais reisais, įrašai gali būti daromi anglų kalba.
Entries in log book shall be made in Lithuanian. Whereas on ships engaged on international voyages entries may be done in English.
7. Laivo žurnalą pildo budintis laivavedys. Savo įrašytą tekstą, jeigu reikia, jis gali pakeisti ir papildyti, o laivo kapitonas, jei jis tuo metu nevykdo laivavedžio funkcijų, – tik papildyti. Keičiamasis arba nereikalingas tekstas užbraukiamas plona linija taip, kad užbrauktą tekstą galima būtų perskaityti, apskliaudžiamas. Jeigu klaida pastebima berašant, teisingas įrašas daromas tuojau pat po skliaustelių. Kitais atvejais – ten, kur yra laisvos vietos, tekste pažymint įrašo taisymo / papildymo buvimo vietą ir patį įrašą tuo pačiu skaitmeniniu ženkleliu. Įrašai ar prierašai patvirtinami žurnalą pildžiusio asmens parašu, laikantis tokios tvarkos:
- „įrašas klaidingas“ – jeigu klaidingo teksto nereikia keisti kitu;
- „skaityti taip:“ – toliau teisingas tekstas;
- „papildymas:“ – toliau papildomas tekstas;
Jeigu taisomi / papildomi jau užpildyti lapai, tai prie įrašo taisymo / papildymo po skaitmeninio ženklelio rašomas žurnalo puslapio numeris, pvz.: 3 / psl. 5.
Kitaip daryti ištaisymus ir papildymus draudžiama.
Ship’s log book shall be kept by a watch officer. He / she may amend or append his / her entry, if necessary, whereas a master of the ship if he / she is not on watch – just to append the entry. Incorrect text or unnecessary text shall be crossed and put into brackets in a way to be readable. If a mistake is made during writing, a correct text shall follow the brackets. Otherwise it shall be rewritten in an empty place, indicated by the same numeral as the place of the main entry. Amended or appended entry shall be signed by a person who made it, following the order:
- „false entry“ – when it is not necessary to change false text to another;
- „read as follows“ – then a correct text follows;
- „appendage“ – then appended text follows.
If already completed pages are amended / appended, a page number shall be written after the numeral indicating the place of amended / appended text and the main entry, for example: 3 / page 5.
It is forbidden to amend / append entries in some other way.
8. Navigacinio pobūdžio įrašus nustato laivo kapitonas, tačiau taip, kad pagal laivo žurnalo įrašus ir laivo kelio žymėjimą jūrlapyje, taip pat pagal fiksuojančius prietaisus būtų galima atstatyti laivo nuplauktą kelią. Laivo kelio žymėjimas jūrlapyje nepanaikinamas iki kito naudojimosi juo, o fiksuojančių prietaisų juostos (elektroniniai duomenys, kursogramos, echologramos, reversogramos, teletaipogramos ir kt.) saugomos laive dvejus metus.
Entries of navigational activities shall be determined by the master however these activities must contain sufficient details to restore a complete record of the voyage (according to the entries in the log book, tracking in the nautical chart and sensing devices). Tracking in the nautical chart shall last till the next use of it, while tapes of sensing devices (electronic data, course diagrams, echo diagrams, reverse diagrams, teletype diagrams, etc.) shall be saved on board for two years.
9. Laivo žurnalas rašomas budėjimo metu vykstant veiksmui ar įvykiui arba po jų.
Entries into the log book shall be made during the watch while actions or events / incidents are going on or right after them.
10. Laivui artinantis prie sąsiaurio, uosto, rūko ribos ir t. t., nebūtina rašyti apie įprastų priemonių vykdymą. Galima apsiriboti užrašu: „laivas parengtas plaukiojimui sąsiauriuose (uosto vandenyse, blogo matomumo sąlygomis)“.
When ship approaches strait, port, mist zone, etc., it is not necessary to record ordinary measures taken. It may be limited to the entry: „ship is ready to sail in a strait (port area, poor visibility conditions)“.
11. Budintis laivavedys įrašus žurnale patvirtina savo parašu, nurodydamas savo pareigybę.
Watch officer shall confirm the entries made in the log book by signing and specifying his / her position.
12. Laivo kapitonas tikrina įrašus žurnale ir savo parašu tvirtina juos kiekvieno lapo gale.
The master of the ship shall control entries in the log book and confirm them by signing at the end of every page.
13. Įrašai žurnale daromi rašalu arba tušu.
Entries shall be made only by ink.
14. Jeigu užrašant nebūtina užpildyti 1–5 skilčių, tekstą galima pradėti nuo 2 skilties tuojau po 1 laiko skilties. Jeigu eilutės neužtenka, užrašą galima tęsti kitoje eilutėje taip pat pradedant nuo 2 skilties imtinai. 1 skiltis skirta tik laiko užrašymui. Kiekvienos paros įrašai pradedami naujame puslapyje. Likusi neužpildyta vieta už praeitą parą užbraukiama ženklu „Z“.
If no information is necessary in columns 1–5, entry may be started from column 2 right after time column 1. If it is not enough space in the row, entry may be continued in the next row starting from column 2 similarly. Column 1 is only for time recording. Every day records shall be made in a new page. Blank space left in the page shall be crossed using symbol „Z“.
15. Ši žurnalo užpildymo tvarka neapriboja kapitono ir budinčio laivavedžio teisės daryti bet kokius įrašus apie laivo kasdieninę veiklą, kurie, jų nuomone, gali turėti reikšmės ginant laivo, laivo savininko arba krovinio savininko interesus. Jokiems kitiems juridiniams arba fiziniams asmenims neleidžiama daryti įrašų laivo žurnale.
These ship’s log book keeping rules do not limit the right of a master and a watch officer to make other entries on ship’s everyday activities, which, to their mind, may be important for protecting the interests of ship, ship owner and / or cargo owner. No legal entity or person is allowed to make any records in the ship’s log book.

Recommended form of entries:
16.1. Pirma įrašų lapo skiltis skirta laikui, kuris užrašomas keturženkliu skaičiumi vienos minutės tikslumu. Valandos atskiriamos nuo minučių tašku, pvz.: 07.45.
First column is for time that shall be recorded as four-digit number with a resolution of one minute. Hours shall be separated from minutes using a dot, for example: 07.45.
16.2. Antra skiltis skirta laivo kompaso nurodytam kursui, užduotam vairininkui arba nustatytam automatiniam vairavimo įrenginiui 0,5° tikslumu. Jeigu kursas keičiamas dažnai – įrašomas bendras kursas. Plaukiojant priekrantėje ar akvatorijose, kai kursas keičiamas labai dažnai ir kompaso parodymų fiksavimas netikslingas, užrašoma A – uosto akvatorija, R – jūrų uosto išorinis reidas, U – upė.
Second column is for course per ship’s compass, set for steersman or fixed for automatic steering gear with a resolution of 0,5°. If the course is being changed often, a general course shall be entered. When sailing near coast or in water areas, the course is being changed very often and course recording is inexpedient, it shall be entered: P – for port waters, O – for outer road of a seaport, R – for river.
16.3. Trečia skiltis skirta laivo kompaso nurodyto kurso pataisai fiksuoti. Laivo kompaso kurso pataisa fiksuojama periodiškai ir nustatoma 0,5° tikslumu.
Third column is for a correction of course per ship’s compass. It shall be recorded periodically and evaluated with a resolution of 0,5°.
16.4. Ketvirta skiltis skirta laivo vietos koordinatėms užrašyti. Užrašomos geografinės koordinatės apskaičiuotos – phi?s, lambda?s arba observuotos – phi?o, lambda?o vienos dešimtosios laipsnio tikslumu, pvz.: 47°12,9’,N 020°50’,3E. Koordinatės nustatomos ir užrašomos visais atvejais, kada laivo kapitonas ar budintis laivavedys laiko tai reikalinga, užtikrinant 8 punkto nuostatų vykdymą. Būdai ir metodai, kuriais nustatomos laivo vietos koordinatės, reikalingi paaiškinimai – orientyrų pavadinimai, apskaičiuotų ir observuotų vietų nesutapimas užrašomi 6 skiltyje.
Fourth column is for coordinates of ship’s position. Here shall be recorded geographical coordinates, which are calculated – phi?s, lambda?s or observed – phi?o, lambda?o with a resolution of 0,1°, for example: 47°12’,9N 020°50’,3E. Coordinates shall be determined and recorded in every case when master of the ship or watch officer decides that it is necessary enforcing requirements of the paragraph 8. All methods and techniques for determination of coordinates of ship’s position, necessary information – mark names, difference between calculated and observed positions shall be recorded in the column 6.
16.5. Penktoje skiltyje užrašomi laivo greitį matuojančio prietaiso parodymai vienos dešimtosios mazgo tikslumu.
Fifth column is for a speed measurement device (log) indications with a resolution of 0,1 knot.
16.6. Šeštoje skiltyje užrašomi laivo gyvenimo eiga ir įvykiai. Šios skilties pradžioje užrašoma apie eigos ar stovėjimo budėjimo priėmimą (nurodant pavardę) ir eigos budėjimo perdavimą (pasirašant).
Sixth column is for ship’s life stages and activities / events. The name of the person who is taking over watch and the signature of the person who is handing over watch shall be entered at the beginning of the column.
16.7. Aštunta skiltis skirta nuplauktam nuotoliui užrašyti (jūrmylėmis). Šioje skiltyje rašomas laikas, tikrasis nuotolis (ištaisytas lago pataisa) ir nuotolis pagal lagą (l2–l1), jei toks prietaisas laive yra. Nuotoliai užrašomi vienos dešimtosios jūrmylės tikslumu. Nuotoliai už parą, reisą užrašomi jau ištaisyti pataisa, t. y. tikri.
Eighth column is for a distance sailed (in nautical miles). Here shall be recorded time, actual distance (with log correction) and distance per log (l2–l1) if the device is onboard. Distances shall be recorded with a resolution of 0,1 nautical mile. Distances per day, per voyage shall be recorded with correction already, i. e. actual.
16.8. Dešimta skiltis skirta vėjo krypčiai ir jo greičiui užrašyti. Vėjo kryptis užrašoma rumbais, o jo greitis – m/s, pvz.: WNW-12. Jeigu vėjas pasikeitė kitu laiku nei parašyta skiltyje ir tai turi įtakos laivui arba apskaičiuotam dreifui, tokiu atveju duomenys apie vėją užrašomi 6 skiltyje.
Tenth column is for wind direction and speed. Wind direction shall be recorded in points of the compass and speed – in m/s, for example: WNW-12. If wind changes at the time different from the recorded time and this impacts the ship or the calculated drift, data on wind shall be recorded in the column 6.
16.9. Vienuoliktoje skiltyje užrašomas bangų arba vilnies kryptis 10° tikslumu ir jūros paviršiaus būklė balais, pvz.: 180°-7. Laivui stovint upėje arba uoste, rašoma „upė“, „uostas“. Esant ledui, rašoma raidė „L“, o balais išreiškiama, kokia dalis jūros paviršiaus padengta ledu, pav.: L-6.
Eleventh column is for the record of wave direction at a resolution of 10° and roughness of the sea surface in degrees of the scale, for example: 180°-7. When ship is in a river or in port, words „river“, „port“ shall be entered. In the case of ice letter „I“ shall be entered and area covered by ice shall be expressed in numbers, for example: I-6.
16.10. Dvyliktoje skiltyje atmosferos būklė ir matomumas užrašomi raidėmis ir jūrmylėmis (G – giedra, D – debesuota, A – apsiniaukę, M – migla, R – rūkas, L – lietus, S – sniegas, P – perkūnija, K – kruša), pvz.: K-2.
Twelfth column is for atmospheric condition and visibility, entries shall be made in such way: letters for weather, visibility in nautical miles (B – for blue sky, C – cloudy, O – overcast, M – for mist, F – for fog, R – for rain, S – for snow, T – for thunder, H – for hail), for example: H-2.
16.11. Tryliktoje skiltyje užrašomas atmosferos slėgis gyvsidabrio stulpelio milimetrais.
Thirteenth column is for atmospheric pressure (mmHg).
16.12. Keturioliktoje skiltyje užrašoma oro temperatūra (C°) vieno laipsnio tikslumu.
Fourteenth column is for an air temperature (C°) at a resolution of 1C°.
16.13. Penkioliktoje skiltyje užrašoma jūros paviršiaus temperatūra (C°).
Fifteenth column is for sea surface temperature (C°).
16.14. Šešiolikta skiltis skirta laivo triumų šulinių ir balastinių bei kitų vandens tankų matavimams užrašyti.
Sixteenth column is for the measurements of hold wells, ballast tanks and other water tanks.
16.15. Aštuoniolikta skiltis skirta budinčių jūreivių pavardėms įrašyti. Jeigu į tiltelį iškviečiama papildoma budėjimo pamaina, tai įrašas daromas 6 skiltyje.
Eighteenth column is for the names of watch keepers. If additional shift is called on the bridge, this action shall be recorded in the column 6.
16.16. Šeštoje skiltyje taip pat įrašomi duomenys, kuriems neskirtos specialios skiltys. Šie duomenys įrašomi kapitono nurodymu arba kai budintis laivavedys laiko tai reikalinga:
- eigos variklių režimas arba laivo sraigto apsisukimų skaičius per minutę, arba sraigto menčių posūkis;
- srovės elementai užrašomi kaip kryptis K ir greitis jūrmylėmis, pvz.: Ks = 105°, Vs = 1,2;
- navigacinių techninių prietaisų įjungimas ir išjungimas;
- pastovus laivo posvyris 1° tikslumu, nurodant, į kurį bortą laivas pasviręs ( P – į kairįjį bortą, S – į dešinįjį bortą), užrašomas, kai posvyris pastebėtas. Artinantis prie seklių vietų arba prie uosto, įplaukiant į laivų taisymo doką, užrašomas laivo posvyris, taip pat ir nuosvyra, t. y. apskaičiuota ar nustatyta laivo gramzda priekiu ir laivagaliu metrais, pvz.: P – 2°; Tf – 3,9; Ta – 4,2; dA – 0,3;
- perėjimas iš vieno jūrlapio į kitą rašomas taip: „perėjimas į Nr. 48586“ (naujo jūrlapio numeris);
- navigacinių techninių prietaisų pataisos užrašomos jas nustačius, nurodant jų nustatymo būdą;
- krovos darbai užrašomi taip: krovininių triumų (tankų, talpų, denio) parengtis, krovos įrenginio parengtis, krovos darbų pradžia, jų eiga, baigtis, pertraukos, nurodant priežastis, krovos darbų vieta, duomenys apie iškrautų ar pakrautų krovinių kiekį, apie krovinio separavimą, tvirtinimą, apie nepritarimą stividoro arba agento veiksmams dėl krovinio, dėl laivo interesų, nurodant priežastis, kokių priemonių imtasi konfliktui spręsti, taip pat padarytą žalą kroviniui arba laivui.
Sixth column is for the data for which there are no special columns. The data shall be recorded under direction of the ship’s master or when the watch officer decides that it is necessary:
- mode of engines or ship’s screw rotations per minute, or turn of screw’s blades;
- flow elements shall be recorded as direction K and speed in nautical miles, for example: Ks = 105°, Vs = 1,2;
- on and off of navigational technical devices;
- steady list with a resolution of 1° indicating list direction (P – for port list, S – for starboard list), time of a noticed list shall be recorded. When approaching shallow areas or port, entering ship repair dock, shall be recorded ship’s list and overhang, i.e. calculated or measured ship’s forward draught and aft draught in metres, for example: P – 2°; Tf – 3,9; Ta – 4,2; dA – 0,3;
- transfer from one nautical chart to another shall be recorded in such way: „transfer to No. 48586“ (number of a new chart);
- corrections of navigational technical devices shall be recorded when evaluated indicating method of evaluation;
- cargo handling shall be recorded in such way: preparedness of cargo holds (tanks, repositories, decks), preparedness of cargo handling device, start of cargo handling, its’ progress, completion, breaks, indicating reasons for, place of cargo handling, data on the quantity of cargo unloaded / loaded, data on cargo separation, securing, information on disagreement with the actions of stevedore or agent concerning cargo, concerning ship’s interests, indicating reasons for, means to resolve a conflict, damage made to ship / cargo.
