RADIOCOMMUNICATIONS [CAP. 49. Act XII of 2010: PART I REPEAL OF THE RADIOCOMMUNICATIONS ACT 2. (1)This Part repeals the Radiocommunications Act: Provided that any regulations and other subsidiary legislation made under any of the provisions of the Radiocommunications Act, shall, until other provision is made under or by virtue of any Act, continue in force and have effect as if they were made under Part IV of the Electronic Communications (Regulation) Act. (2) Any licence or authorisation however so described issued or applicable under the Radiocommunications Act before the coming into force of this article, shall continue to have effect in accordance with the applicable provisions of Part IV of the Electronic Communications (Regulation) Act: Provided that any fees however so described due in respect of any licence or authorisation issued in accordance with the Radiocommunications Act before the coming into force of this article, shall after the coming into force of this article, remain recoverable as though they were due in accordance with the applicable provisions of Part IV of the Electronic Communications (Regulation) Act. (3) Notwithstanding the other provisions of this article, the Radiocommunications Act shall remain in force for the purpose of any proceedings taken or still to be taken in respect of any breach of the said Act or of any regulations made thereunder at the time of the coming into force of this article. *Repealed by Act XII of 2010, but see note above. 1
