The examples in this guide are based on Czech law. The same tools also work with the Europaius Cyprus corpus:
Every call to a connector tool counts as one query: a search in legislation, a search in case law, retrieving the full text, comparing countries. A single question in a chat usually triggers one to three calls; the AI decides on its own. Case-law research with retrieval of three decisions is roughly five queries. The free account has 100 queries a day, which is enough for an individual doing regular work; an agent running in a loop will use it up quickly.
Commercial legal information systems cost thousands to tens of thousands of CZK per user per month and are used manually. The Europaius connector, for a few hundred CZK a month, puts the same primary sources directly into the AI you already pay for. It does not replace commentary literature or templates, but it covers most needs for research and citation verification. Many firms combine both: a database for commentaries, the connector for everyday work with AI.
The limit is counted per account email, not per AI tool; one account connected to both Claude and ChatGPT shares the 100 queries. When the limit is exhausted, the connector returns a message about the limit, and the AI should say that it has no source; it will not start making things up, but it will finish the answer without citations, which you can recognise by the missing links. The limit resets at midnight.
https://mcp.europaius.com/mcpYes, Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot have their own pricing. The connector is a separate service provided by Europaius.
