THE INLAND POST AMENDMENT (No. 27) WARRANT, 1925. DEPARTMENT OF POSTS AND TELEGRAPHS. THE INLAND POST AMENDMENT (No. 27) WARRANT, 1925, DATED 30th APRIL, 1925. I, the Minister for Finance of the Irish Free State, in exercise of all powers now vested in me by the Post Office Acts, 1908 to 1920, the Adaptation of Enactments Act, 1922 , the Ministers and Secretaries Act, 1924 , and of all other powers enabling me in this behalf, do, by this Warrant made on the representation of the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs (testified by his signing the same) order, direct, and declare as follows:—

(1)This Warrant shall be read as one with the Inland Post Warrant, 1903 (hereinafter referred to as "the Principal Warrant") and all Warrants amending the same.
(2)There shall be charged and paid:— (
  1. a)On every postcard the rate of postage of one penny. (
  2. b)On every reply postcard the rate of postage of two-pence.
(3)Regulation 18 of the Principal Warrant (which relates to postcards not prepaid) shall have effect as though "two-pence" were substituted therein for "one penny."
(4)On and from the date on which this Warrant comes into operation the Warrant mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall be repealed to the extent mentioned in the third column of such Schedule. Provided that— (
  1. i)Where any provision of any Warrant not comprised in the said Schedule has been repealed by any Warrant hereby repealed, such repeal shall not be affected by the repeal effected by this Warrant. (
  2. ii)The repeal by this Warrant or any Warrant shall not affect— (
  3. a)anything done or suffered before this Warrant comes into operation; or (
  4. b)any legal proceeding commenced before this Warrant comes into operation in pursuance of any Warrant hereby repealed, and any such legal proceeding may be carried on and completed as if this Warrant had not been made.
(5)This Warrant may be cited as "The Inland Post Amendment (No. 27) Warrant, 1925."
(6)This Warrant shall come into operation on the First day of May,
