AmendmentsLeasuithe STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. [zzsi32y1925]1925. No. 32.No. 32/1925: FISHERIES ACT, 1925 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1925. WHEREAS it is enacted by section 2 of the Fisheries Act, 1925 (No. 32 of 1925), that that Act shall come into operation on such day as shall be fixed by order of the Minister for Fisheries either generally or with reference to any particular Part of that Act, and that different dates may be fixed for the commencement of different Parts of the Act: AND WHEREAS it is expedient that the several Parts of the said Act should come into operation on the respective dates hereinafter mentioned: NOW I, FIONAN O LOINGSIGH, Minister for Fisheries, in exercise of the power conferred on me by section 2 of the Fisheries Act, 1925 (No. 32 of 1925), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling do hereby order as follows, that is to say:— 1. This Order may be cited for all purposes as the Fisheries Act, 1925 (Commencement) Order, 1925. 2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), shall apply to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas. 3. The several Parts of the Fisheries Act, 1925 (No. 32 of 1925), shall come into operation on the following dates respectively, that is to say:— The Part entitled "Preliminary" and Parts I. and IV. and the Second Schedule on the 1st day of September, 1925; Part II. and the First Schedule on the 29th day of September, 1925; Part III. on the 2nd day of November, 1925.
