CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION (FEES) ORDER, 1925. ORDER BY THE MINISTER FOR FINANCE DATED THE 24TH DAY OF AUGUST, 1925, DETERMINING THE MODE OF COLLECTING FEES FOR THE PURPOSES OF THE CIVIL SERVICE REGULATION ACT, 1924 . WHEREAS it is enacted by Sections 2 and 3 of the Public Offices Fees Act, 1879, as adapted by the Adaptation of Enactments Act, 1922 , that the fees payable in any public office shall be collected either in money or by means of stamps, or partly in one way and partly in the other way, according as may be from time to time directed by Order of the Minister for Finance and that he may regulate and determine the use of impressed or adhesive stamps. AND WHEREAS it is enacted by Section 4

(2)of the Civil Service Regulation Act, 1924 , that fees prescribed by regulations made under the section shall be paid in respect of applications to attend the examinations to be held in pursuance of the Act: NOW THEREFORE I, Earnán de Blaghd, being the Minister for Finance of Saorstát Eireann do hereby order, in pursuance of the powers conferred on me by the above Enactments, that all the fees prescribed to be charged in respect of admission to attend such examinations held on or after 1st day of October, 1925, shall be collected by means of adhesive stamps to be affixed to the form of application or other appropriate document and to be cancelled by the person authorised in that behalf by the Civil Service Commissioners. AND I DO FURTHER ORDER that the adhesive stamps to be used shall be provided by the Revenue Commissioners and that the Revenue Commissioners shall keep accounts of all moneys received by them in respect of fees under the Civil Service Regulation Act, 1924 , and any Orders made thereunder.
