THE STATISTICS (ROAD MOTOR PASSENGER SERVICES: PARTICULARS AS TO STAFF) ORDER, 1929. THE STATISTICS (ROAD MOTOR PASSENGER SERVICES: PARTICULARS AS TO STAFF) ORDER, 1929, MADE BY THE MINISTER FOR INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE UNDER SUB-SECTION
(1)OF SECTION 16 of THE STATISTICS ACT, 1926 . WHEREAS the Statistics (Road Motor Passenger Services: Particulars as to Staff) Order, 1928, hereinafter referred to as " the said Order," provides that statistics shall be collected for the last pay-week in each of the months of February and August of each year in respect of the numbers of persons, and the amounts paid in salaries and wages to such persons, employed in connection with road motor services, other than tramways and light railways, for the conveyance on public roads of fare-paying passengers by means of one or more mechanically-propelled vehicles having each a seating capacity of more than six seats (excluding the driver's seat): AND WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the said Order in respect of the year 1929. NOW, I, PATRICK McGILLIGAN, the Minister for Industry and Commerce, in pursuance of the powers conferred on me by sub-section
(1)of section 16 of the Statistics Act, 1926 , and all other powers enabling me in that behalf, do hereby order as follows:—
- The second period of the year 1929 for which the said Statistics shall be collected shall be the first pay-week terminating in the month of August instead of the last pay-week in that month provided in the said Order.
- This Order may be cited for all purposes as the Statistics (Road Motor Passenger Services: Particulars as to Staff) Order, 1929, and shall be read and construed with the said Order. Dated this twenty-third day of August,
