- CONSTITUTION (
ARTICLE 2A) ORDER, 1932. WHEREAS it is provided by sub-section
(3)of section 1 of Article 2A of the Constitution that whenever and so often as Parts II, III, IV, and V of that Article are in force and the Executive Council is of opinion that circumstances rendering it expedient that the said Parts of that Article should be in force no longer exist, the Executive Council may by order declare that the said Parts II, III, IV, and V shall cease to be in force : AND WHEREAS the said Parts II, III, IV, and V of Article 2A of the Constitution are now in force and the Executive Council is of opinion that circumstances rendering it expedient that the said Parts of that Article should be in force no longer exist : NOW, the Executive Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sub-section
(3)of section 1 of Article 2A of the Constitution and of every and any other power them in this behalf enabling, do hereby declare and order as follows :—
- Parts II, III, IV, and V of Article 2A of the Constitution shall cease to be in force.
- The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.
- This Order may be cited for all purposes as the Constitution (
Article 2A) Order, 1932.
