AmendmentsLeasuithe STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1933. No. 189. CONSTITUTION (DECLARATION OF UNLAWFUL ASSOCIATION) (No. 2) ORDER, 1933. WHEREAS it is provided by sub-section

(2)of section 19 of Article 2A of the Constitution that an Order made by the Executive Council declaring that a specified association is, in the opinion of the Executive Council, an unlawful association shall be conclusive evidence for all purposes that such association is an unlawful association ; NOW, the Executive Council in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sub-section
(2)of section 19 of Article 2A of the Constitution and of every and any other power them in this behalf enabling, do hereby declare and order as follows :—
  1. The association styling itself and generally known as the Young Ireland Association (also known as the Blue Shirts) is, in the opinion of the Executive Council, an unlawful association.
  2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.
  3. This Order may be cited for all purposes as the Constitution (Declaration of Unlawful Association) (No. 2) Order,
