AmendmentsLeasuithe STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1934. No. 179. FISHERIES (RETURNS BY HOLDERS OF SPECIAL LOCAL LICENCES) REGULATIONS, 1934. WHEREAS it is enacted by sub-section
(1)of section 10 of the Fisheries (Tidal Waters) Act, 1934 (No. 24 of 1934), that the Minister for Agriculture may by order make regulations in relation to all or any of the following matters, that is to say:— (
- a)The returns to be made by holders of special local licences; (
- b)the persons to whom such returns are to be made; (
- c)the times at which such returns are to be made; (
- d)the forms in which such returns are to be made. NOW, THEREFORE, I, SÉAMAS Ó RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sub-section
(1)of section 10 of the Fisheries (Tidal Waters) Act, 1934 (No. 24 of 1934) and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby order and make the following regulations, that is to say:— 1.—
(1)These Regulations may be cited for all purposes as the Fisheries (Returns by Holders of Special Local Licences) Regulations, 1934.
(2)These Regulations shall come into operation on the 21st day of July, 1934. 2.—The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of these Regulations in like-manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas. 3.
(1)Every holder of a special local licence for any year shall, not later than three days after the expiration of every week which or part of which is in the fishing season of such year, make to the Minister for Agriculture a return of the catch taken during such week by the net or other engine of the kind specified in such licence.
(2)Where a person is the holder of two or more special local licences for any year he shall make separate returns under this Regulation in respect of each of such special local licences.
(3)Every return under this Regulation shall be in the form set out in the Schedule hereto and shall contain the particulars, relevant to the week to which such return relates, indicated in such form.
