AmendmentsLeasuithe STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1934. No. 222. WORKMEN'S COMPENSATION (FEES ON REFERENCE ORDERS) REGULATIONS, 1934. WHEREAS by virtue of the Workmen's Compensation Act, 1934 (Commencement) Order, 1934 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 153 of 1934), the Workmen's Compensation Act, 1934 (No. 9 of 1934), came into operation on the 1st day of August, 1934 : AND WHEREAS it is enacted by sub-section
(3)of Section 34 of the said Act that whenever an application for a reference order is granted there shall be paid to the county registrar before the issue of the order by the applicant or the applicants such fee not exceeding one pound as may be fixed by regulations made by the Minister for Justice with the sanction of the Minister for Finance : NOW, THEREFORE, I, PATRICK J. RUTTLEDGE, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on my by sub-section
(3)of Section 34 of the Workmen's Compensation Act, 1934 (No. 9 of 1934), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby, with the sanction of the Minister for Finance, testified by his signature hereto, make the following Regulations, that is to say :—
- These Regulations may be cited for all purposes as the Workmen's Compensation (Fees on Reference Orders) Regulations,
- The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of these Regulations in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.
- The fee to be paid to the county registrar under subsection
(3)of Section 34 of the Workmen's Compensation Act, 1934 (No. 9 of 1934), shall be one pound. Given under my Seal of Office, this 7th day of August, 1934. PATRICK J. RUTTLEDGE, Minister for Justice.
