AmendmentsLeasuithe STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. I935. No. 153. TOWN AND REGIONAL PLANNING (COLLECTION OF FEES) REGULATIONS, 1935. WHEREAS it is enacted by Section 3 of the Public Offices Fees Act, 1879, as adapted by or under the Adaptation of Enactments Act, 1822 (No. 2 of 1922), that the Minister for Finance may from time to time make regulations for certain purposes respecting fees in any public office, and amongst others for the purpose of regulating the manner in which such fees, taken in money, are to be taken, accounted for, and paid over: AND WHEREAS an inspector of taxes is an officer in the Office of the Revenue Commissioners which is a public office within the meaning of the said Act: AND WHEREAS by virtue of the Town and Regional Planning (Collection of Fees) Order, 1935 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 152 of 1935), fees payable under Section 9 of the Town and Regional Planning Act, 1934 (No. 22 of 1934), are to be collected in money: NOW, the Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 3 of the Public Offices Fees Act, 1879, as adapted by or under the Adaptation of Enactments Act, 1922 (No. 2 of 1922), and of any and every other power him in this behalf enabling hereby makes the following Regulations, that is to say:— 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Town and Regional Planning (Collection of Fees) Regulations, I935. 2. The Interpretation Act, 1889, applies to the interpretation of these Regulations in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas passed before the 1st day of January, 1924. 3. The fees payable to an inspector of taxes under Section 9 of the Town and Regional Planning Act, 1934 (No. 22 of 1934), shall be taken in the following manner, that is to say:— (
- a)by payment in cash at the office of the Revenue Commissioners, Dublin; or ((IT+>
- b)by sending by post to the said office a post office money order or a postal order payable to the Revenue Commissioners at the General Post Office, Dublin, and crossed "& Co."; or (
- c)by a banker's draft, or by cheque guaranteed by the bank upon which it is drawn, or by paying order, payable to the Revenue Commissioners. 4. The said fees shall be accounted for, paid into, or disposed of for the benefit of the Exchequer in such manner as the Minister for Finance may direct.
