STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1935. No. 177. DAIRY PRODUCE (BUTTER TRADERS' RETURNS) REGULATIONS, 1935. WHEREAS it is enacted by sub-section

(1)of Section 4 of the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1935 (No. 21 of 1935), that the Minister for Agriculture may by order make regulations prescribing any matter or thing referred to in that Act as prescribed or to be prescribed: AND WHEREAS these regulations relate to matters and things referred to in sub-section
(1)of Section 22 of the said Act as prescribed: NOW, I, Séamas O Riain, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1935 (No. 21 of 1935), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby order and make the following regulations, that is to say:—
  1. These Regulations may be cited as the Dairy Produce (Butter Traders' Returns) Regulations,
  3. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of these Regulations in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.
  4. In these Regulations— the expression "the Minister" means the Minister for Agriculture; the expression "the Act" means the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1935 (No. 21 of 1935).
  5. These Regulations apply to every person on whom a notice was served under Section 14 of the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1932 (No. 10 of 1932).
  6. Every person to whom these Regulations apply who is liable under Part III of the Act to pay a levy shall send to the Minister the particulars specified in or required by the form set out in the Schedule hereto and such particulars shall relate to and be in respect of a period of one month ending on the last day of the month to which such particulars relate and shall be sent to the Minister by being sent by post to the Secretary, Department of Agriculture, Dublin.
