BUTTER (LEVY AND BOUNTY) ORDER, 1935. WHEREAS it is enacted by section 18 of the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1935 (No. 21 of 1935), that the Minister for Agriculture may from time to time by order make regulations prescribing the rates of levy under Part III of the said Act on creamery butter and non-creamery butter and the date on which any particular rate of levy shall come into force; AND WHEREAS it is enacted by section 34 of the said Act that the Minister for Agriculture may from time to time by order make regulations prescribing the rates of bounty under Part VII of the said Act on creamery butter and non-creamery butter, and the date on which any particular rate of bounty shall come into force; AND WHEREAS the Butter Marketing Committee is a central marketing organisation within the meaning of section 49 of the said Act and is operating under rules approved by the Minister for Agriculture; NOW, I, SÉAMAS O RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1935 (No. 21 of 1935), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do by this order make the following regulations:— 1. This Order may be cited as the Butter (Levy and Bounty) Order, 1935. 2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas. 3. The rate of levy on creamery butter shall be thirty-nine shillings the hundredweight, and such rate shall come into force on the 1st day of July, 1935. 4. The rate of levy on non-creamery butter shall be thirty-nine shillings the hundredweight, and such rate shall come into force on the 1st day of July, 1935. 5. The rate of bounty on creamery butter which is exported by the Butter Marketing Committee shall be twenty shillings the hundredweight, and such rate shall come into force on the 1st day of July, 1935. 6. The rate of bounty on creamery butter which is exported by any person other than the Butter Marketing Committee shall be seventeen shillings the hundredweight, and such rate shall come into force on the 1st day of July, 1935. 7. The rate of bounty on non-creamery butter shall be twenty shillings the hundredweight, and such rate shall come into force on the 1st day of July, 1935.
