AmendmentsLeasuithe STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1935. No. 40. RIVER ERNE (SPECIAL LOCAL LICENCES) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1935. WHEREAS it is enacted by sub-section
(6)of section 4 of the Fisheries (Tidal Waters) Act, 1934 (No. 24 of 1934), that the Minister for Agriculture may with the consent of the Minister for Finance make an order under the said sub-section amending any order previously made by him under the said section (including the said sub-section) so far as such order relates to licence duties; AND WHEREAS the River Erne (Special Local Licences) Order, 1934 (Statutory Rules and Orders No. 178 of 1934), was made under the said section 4; NOW, THEREFORE, I, SÉAMAS O RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection
(6)of section 4 of the Fisheries (Tidal Waters) Act, 1934 (No. 24 of 1934), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby, with the consent of the Minister for Finance testified by his signature hereto, make the following Order, that is to say:— 1.—
(1)This Order may be cited as the River Erne (Special Local Licences) (Amendment) Order, 1935.
(2)This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of March, 1935. 2.—The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923) applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas. 3.—Paragraph
(1)of Article 4 of the River Erne (Special Local Licences) Order, 1934 (Statutory Rules and Orders No. 178 of 1934), shall cease to have effect and in lieu thereof the licence duty to be paid in respect of every special local licence to use a draft net granted under the authority of the said Order shall be £40 (fourty pounds).
