No. 538/1935 - Slaughter of Cattle and Sheep (Prohibitory Notice and Withdrawal Notice) Order, 1935. AmendmentsLeasuithe STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1935. No. 538. SLAUGHTER OF CATTLE AND SHEEP (PROHIBITORY NOTICE AND WITHDRAWAL NOTICE) ORDER, 1935. WHEREAS it is enacted by sub-section
(1)of Section 4 of the Slaughter of Cattle and Sheep Act, 1934 (No. 42 of 1934), that the Minister for Agriculture may by order make regulations prescribing any matter or thing which is referred to in the said Act as prescribed or to be prescribed ; AND WHEREAS by Section 3 of the Slaughter of Cattle and Sheep (Amendment) Act, 1935 (No. 37 of 1935), the power conferred on the said Minister by the said Section 4 is extended and applied to the making of regulations for the purpose of prescribing any matter or thing referred to in the last-mentioned Act as prescribed or to be prescribed : AND WHEREAS the matters or things prescribed by this Order are referred to in the Slaughter of Cattle and Sheep (Amendment) Act, 1935 , as prescribed : NOW, I, SÉAMAS O RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sub-section
(1)of Section 4 of the Slaughter of Cattle and Sheep Act, 1934 (No. 42 of 1934) as extended and applied by Section 3 of the Slaughter of Cattle and Sheep (Amendment) Act, 1935 (No. 37 of 1935), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do by this Order make the following regulations :— 1. This Order may be cited as the Slaughter of Cattle and Sheep (Prohibitory Notice and Withdrawal Notice) Order, 1935, 2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas. 3. In this Order— the expression " the Act " means the Slaughter of Cattle and Sheep (Amendment) Act, 1935 (No. 37 of 1935) ; the expression " the Minister " means the Minister for Agriculture. 4. Every prohibitory notice served under section 10 of the act by the Minister on a registered proprietor shall be in the Form S.C.S. 56 in the Schedule hereto. 5. Every withdrawal notice served under section 10 of the act by the Minister on a registered proprietor shall be in the Form S.C.S. 57 in the Schedule hereto. SCHEDULE. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE.
