THE UNEMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1935 , (DATE OF OPERATION OF SECTION 8) ORDER, 1935, MADE BY THE MINISTER FOR INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE ON THE 24th DAY OF AUGUST, 1935, PURSUANT TO SECTION 8 of THE UNEMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1935 . WHEREAS it is enacted in sub-section

(6)of Section 8 of the Unemployment Assistance (Amendment) Act, 1935 , that the said Section of the said Act shall come into force on such day as may be appointed for the purpose by order of the Minister. NOW, THEREFORE, the Minister for Industry and Commerce in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sub-section
(6)of Section 8 of the Unemployment Assistance (Amendment) Act, 1935 , and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, hereby orders as follows, that is to say :—
  1. Section 8 of the Unemployment Assistance (Amendment) Act, 1935 , shall come into force on the 28th day of August,
  3. This Order may be cited for all purposes as the Unemployment Assistance (Amendment) Act, 1935 , (Date of Operation of Section 8) Order,
  4. By Order of the Minister for Industry and Commerce. Dated this 24th day of August,
