AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE (POTATOES) REGULATIONS, 1935. WHEREAS it is enacted by sub-section

(1)of Section 35 of the Agricultural Produce (Potatoes) Act, 1931 (No. 26 of 1931), that the Minister for Agriculture may by order make regulations in regard to any matter or thing referred to in the said Act as prescribed, or as being, or to be prescribed: AND WHEREAS these regulations relate to the things referred to in the said Act as prescribed: AND WHEREAS in exercise of the powers conferred on him by the said Act the said Minister made the Agricultural Produce (Potatoes) Regulations, 1931 (Statutory Rules and Orders No. 87 of 1931): NOW, I, SÉAMAS Ó RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Agricultural Produce (Potatoes) Act, 1931 (No. 26 of 1931), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby order and make the following regulations, that is to say:— 1.—
(1)These Regulations may be cited as the Agricultural Produce (Potatoes) Regulations, 1935.
(2)The Agricultural Produce (Potatoes) Regulations, 1931 (Statutory Rules and Orders No. 87 of 1931), and these Regulations may be cited together as the Agricultural Produce (Potatoes) Regulations, 1931 and
  2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of these Regulations in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.
  3. In these Regulations— the expression "the Act" means the Agricultural Produce (Potatoes) Act, 1931 (No. 26 of 1931); the expression "the principal Regulations" means the Agricultural Produce (Potatoes) Regulations, 1931 (Statutory Rules and Orders No. 87 of 1931). 4.—
(1)An exporter's (general) licence under Section 6 of the Act shall be in the Form P.4 in the Schedule hereto.
(2)Paragraph 7 of the Principal Regulations is hereby revoked. 5.—
(1)An exporter's (grower's) licence under Section 6 of the Act shall be in the Form P.6 in the Schedule hereto.
(2)Paragraph 9 of the Principal Regulations is hereby revoked. 6.—
(1)A certificate of indebtedness within the meaning of Section 10 of the Act shall be in the Form P.7 in the Schedule hereto.
(2)Paragraph 10 of the Principal Regulations is hereby revoked. 7.—
(1)A special licence granted under sub-section
(1)of Section 28 of the Act shall be in the Form P.9 in the Schedule hereto.
