AmendmentsLeasuithe STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS, 1936. No. 148. LANDLORD AND TENANT ACT (COLLECTION OF FEES) ORDER, 1936. WHEREAS it is enacted by Section 2 of the Public Offices Fees Act, 1879, as adapted by or under the Adaptation of Enactments Act, 1922 (No. 2 of 1922), that the fees payable in any public Office shall be collected either in money or by means of stamps or partly in one way and partly in the other way, according as may be from time to time directed by order of the Minister for Finance: AND WHEREAS the office of every county registrar is a public office within the meaning of the said Act: NOW, the Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 2 of the Public Offices Fees Act, 1879, as adapted by or under the Adaptation of Enactments Act, 1922 (No. 2 of 1922), and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, hereby orders as follows:— 1. This Order may be cited as the Landlord and Tenant Act (Collection of Fees) Order, 1936. 2. The Interpretation Act, 1889, applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas passed before the 1st day of January, 1924. 3. Each of the several fees mentioned in and payable under sub-section
(4)of Section 26, sub-section
(4)of Section 30 and sub-section
(4)of Section 49 respectively of the Landlord and Tenant Act, 1931 (No. 55 of 1931), shall be collected in money.
