The Minister for Local Government and Public Health in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 15 and sub-section
(3)of Section 41 of the Milk and Dairies Act, 1935 , by this his order makes the following regulations, that is to say:—
- These regulations may be cited as the Milk and Dairies (Prohibition Order) Regulations,
- The Interpretation Act, 1923 , shall apply for the purposes of the interpretation of these regulations in the same manner in which it applies for the purposes of the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.
- Every prohibition order made under Section 41 of the Milk and Dairies Act, 1935 , shall be in the form set forth in the Schedule to these regulations. SCHEDULE. FORM OF PROHIBITION ORDER. Milk and Dairies Act, 1935 . Section

(1)of Section 41 of the Milk and Dairies Act, 1935 , and being satisfied as a result of such examination that the disease mentioned in the said particulars (being a disease to which Part V of the said Act applies) is caused or is likely to be caused by the consumption of milk supplied from the said dairy, do by this my Order, prohibit you [note (a)] absolutely unless the conditions set forth in the said particulars are complied with from selling or allowing any other person to sell milk from [note (a)] the said dairy the animal(s) in the said dairy which is (are) described in the said particulars for human consumption in the form of milk from and after the service of this Order and until it is withdrawn or annulled.
