AmendmentsLeasuithe STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1936. No. 340. SLAUGHTER OF CATTLE AND SHEEP ACTS, 1934 AND 1935 (CESSER) (No. 2) ORDER, 1936. WHEREAS it is enacted by sub-section

(1)of Section 4 of the Slaughter of Cattle and Sheep (Amendment) Act, 1936 (No. 33 of 1936), that the Executive Council may by order declare that such one or more of the following Parts of the Slaughter of Cattle and Sheep Act, 1934 (No. 42 of 1934), as shall be specified in such order, that is to say, Part II, Part III, Part IV, Part V, and Part IX, shall cease to be in force as on and from such date (not being earlier than the date of such order nor later than the 31st day of December 1936) as shall be specified in that behalf in such order : AND WHEREAS it is enacted by sub-section
(2)of the said Section 4 that the Executive Council may by order declare that such one or more of the provisions of the Slaughter of Cattle and Sheep (Amendment) Act, 1935 (No. 37 of 1935), except Section 17 thereof, as shall be specified in such order shall cease to be in force as on and from such date (not being earlier than the date of such order nor later than the 31st day of December, 1936) as shall be specified in that behalf in such order : NOW, the Executive Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 4 of the Slaughter of Cattle and Sheep (Amendment) Act, 1936 (No. 33 of 1936), and of every and any other power them in this behalf enabling, do hereby order as follows :—
  1. This Order may be cited as the Slaughter of Cattle and Sheep Acts, 1934 and 1935 (Cesser) (No. 2) Order,
  3. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.
  4. The following Parts of the Slaughter of Cattle and Sheep Act 1934 (No. 42 of 1934), that is to say, Part II and Part IX, shall cease to be in force as on and from the 6th day of December,
  6. The following provisions of the Slaughter of Cattle and Sheep (Amendment) Act, 1935 (No. 37 of 1935), that is to say, Sections 8, 9, 12, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 thereof and the Schedule thereto, shall cease to be in force as on and from the 6th day of December,
