EXPORTATION OF ANIMALS ORDER, 1938. The Minister for Agriculture, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the joint operation of the Agriculture Act, 1931 (No. 8 of 1931) and the Diseases of Animals (Ireland) Acts, 1894 to 1935, and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling doth hereby order as follows :— 1. This Order may be cited as the Exportation of Animals Order, 1938. 2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 . (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order. 3. In this Order the word " master " includes a person having the charge or command of a vessel. 4. It shall not be lawful for the master of a vessel to cause any such vessel in which a cargo of cattle has been loaded at a port within the State for carriage to Great Britain to be moved from such port until such master has received from a Veterinary Inspector of the Minister for Agriculture in respect of such cargo a certificate in the form set out in the Schedule hereto. 5. Nothing in this Order shall be construed as affecting in any way the operation of the Exportation of Animals (Irish Free State) Order, of 1923. SCHEDULE.
