No. 229/1938 - Unemployment Assistance (Qualification Certificate Regulations) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order, 1938. AmendmentsLeasuithe STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1938. No. 229. UNEMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE (QUALIFICATION CERTIFICATE REGULATIONS) (AMENDMENT) (No. 2) ORDER, 1938. WHEREAS it is enacted by subsection
(1)of section 7 of the Unemployment Assistance Act, 1933 (No. 46 of 1933), that the Minister for Industry and Commerce may by order make regulations prescribing any matter or thing which is referred to in the said Act as prescribed or to be prescribed or any matter or thing which is expressly authorised by the said Act to be prescribed by regulations made by the said Minister under the said Act : AND WHEREAS the Unemployment Assistance (Qualification Certificate Regulations) Order, 1934 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 33 of 1934), was made by the said Minister under the said subsection : NOW, the Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by subsection
(1)of section 7 of the Unemployment Assistance Act, 1933 (No. 46 of 1933), and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, hereby orders as follows :
- This Order may be cited as the Unemployment Assistance (Qualification Certificate Regulations) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order,
- The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.
- The First Schedule to the Unemployment Assistance (Qualification Certificate Regulations) Order, 1934 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 33 of 1934), is hereby amended by the deletion therefrom of the asterisks and words " If place where born is within Saorstát Eireann replies are not required " at items 7 and 8 of the said First Schedule.
