WIDOWS' AND ORPHANS' PENSIONS (CALCULATION OF CONTRIBUTIONS) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS, 1938. The Minister for Local Government and Public Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by paragraph (
- c)of sub-section
(1)of Section 13 and by Section 65 of the Widows' and Orphans' Pensions Act, 1935 , does by this, his Order, make the following Regulations :
- These Regulations may be cited as the Widows' and Orphans' Pensions (Calculation of Contributions) Amendment Regulations, 1938, and shall be read as one with the Widows' and Orphans' Pensions (Calculation of Contributions) Regulations, 1936, (No. 132 of 1936) (hereinafter referred to as the " Principal Regulations "). These Regulations and the Principal Regulations may be cited together as the Widows' and Orphans' Pensions (Calculation of Contributions) Regulations, 1936 and
- The following shall be added to Article 5 of the Principal Regulations :— " (iii) in respect of every week after 4th July, 1937, as regards which the Minister is satisfied that the insured person was available for, but unable to obtain employment. Provided that this provision shall not apply to any period during which the insured person was insured as a Voluntary Contributor.
- These Regulations shall come into operation as from 4th July,
