No. 239/1939 - Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1939 (Suspendable Provisions Under Section 4) (Suspending) Order, 1939. AmendmentsLeasuithe STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1939. No. 239. AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE (CEREALS) ACT, 1939 (SUSPENDABLE PROVISIONS UNDER SECTION 4) (SUSPENDING) ORDER, 1939. WHEREAS it is enacted by sub-section
(1)of Section 4 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1939 (No. 22 of 1939), that at any time while the suspendable provisions are, whether by virtue of an order made under the next following subsection or otherwise, in force, the Minister for Agriculture may by order (in that section referred to as a suspending order) declare that the suspendable provisions shall cease to be in force as on and from such date as the said Minister thinks fit and specifies in such order : AND WHEREAS it is enacted by subsection
(5)of the said Section 4 that in that section the expression "the suspendable provisions" means subsections
(4)and
(5)of Section 62 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1933 (No. 7 of 1933), and Section 30 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1934 (No. 41 of 1934) : AND WHEREAS the said suspendable provisions are now in force : NOW, I, SÉAMAS O RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection
(1)of Section 4 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1939 (No. 22 of 1939), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby order as follows:—
- This Order may be cited as the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1939 (Suspendable Provisions under Section 4) (Suspending) Order,
- Subsections
(4)and
(5)of Section 62 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1933 (No. 7 of 1933), and Section 30 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1934 (No. 41 of 1934), shall cease to be in force as on and from the 1st day of September,
