EXPORTED LIVE STOCK (INSURANCE) ACT, 1940 (APPOINTED PERCENTAGE UNDER SECTION 16) ORDER, 1940. WHEREAS it is enacted by sub-section
(2)of section 16 of the Exported Live Stock (Insurance) Act, 1940 (No. 25 of 1940), that the Minister for Agriculture shall before the appointed day, and may thereafter whenever and so often as he thinks fit, make, after consultation with the National Executive of the Irish Live Stock Trade, an order appointing a specified percentage to be the appointed percentage for the purposes of the said section. AND WHEREAS by the Exported Live Stock (Insurance) Act, 1940 (Appointed Day) Order, 1940, the Minister for Agriculture appointed the 2nd day of September, 1940, to be the appointed day for the purposes of the said Act : NOW, THEREFORE, I, SÉAMAS O RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in pursuance of sub-section
(2)of section 16 of the Exported Live Stock (Insurance) Act, 1940 (No. 25 of 1940), and in exercise of the power conferred on me by the said sub-section and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby, after consultation with the National Executive of the Irish Live Stock Trade, order as follows, that is to say :—
- This Order may be cited as the Exported Live Stock (Insurance) Act, 1940 (Appointed Percentage under section 16) Order,
- Two per cent. is hereby appointed to be the appointed percentage for the purposes of section 16 of the Exported Live Stock (Insurance) Act, 1940 (No. 25 of 1940). Given under my Official Seal this 9th day of August,
