LAND BOND (DRAWING) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1943. The Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 1 of the Land Act, 1923 (No. 42 of 1923), as amended by subsequent enactments, section 4 of the Land Bond Act, 1933 (No. 33 of 1933), and section 7 of the Land Bond Act, 1934 (No. 11 of 1934), and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, hereby makes the following Regulations :— 1 Short title. 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Land Bond (Drawing) (Amendment) Regulations, 1943. 2 Interpretation. 2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations. 3 Amendment of New Land Bond (Drawing) Regulations, 1938. 3. The New Land Bond (Drawing) Regulations, 1938 ( S. R. & O. No. 59 of 1938 ), are hereby amended by the substitution for regulation 15 of the regulation contained in the Schedule to these Regulations. 4 Amendment of Land Bond (Drawing) Regulations, 1940. 4. The Land Bond (Drawing) Regulations, 1940 ( S. R. & O. No. 245 of 1940 ), are hereby amended by the substitution for regulation 15 of the regulation contained in the Schedule to these Regulations. 5 Amendment of Land Bond (Drawing) Regulations, 1941. 5. The Land Bond (Drawing) Regulations, 1941 ( S. R. & O. No. 69 of 1941 ), are hereby amended by the substitution for regulation 15 of the regulation contained in the Schedule to these Regulations. SCHEDULE. Cancellation and amendment of certificates. 15.

(1)Where a certificate of registration relating solely to bonds which have been drawn for redemption is returned for the purpose of obtaining payment of the bonds, the certificate shall be cancelled.
(2)Where a certificate of registration relating both to bonds which have been drawn for redemption and to bonds which have not been drawn for redemption is returned for the purpose of obtaining payment of the bonds drawn, either— (
  1. a)the certificate shall be suitably amended, or (
  2. b)the certificate shall be cancelled and a new certificate issued in respect of the bonds not drawn. GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for Finance, this 28th day of August, 1943. J.
