AmendmentsLeasuithe STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1944. No. 41. AGRICULTURAL WAGES (MINIMUM RATES) ORDER, 1943 (REVOCATION) ORDER, 1944. WHEREAS it is enacted by sub-section
(4)of Section 17 of the Agricultural Wages Act, 1936 (No. 53 of 1936), that, subject to the provisions of that section the Agricultural Wages Board may at any time by order amend or revoke an order made under that section : AND WHEREAS it is enacted by sub-section
(7)of the said Section 17 that certain provisions shall have effect in relation to any Order made by the Agricultural Wages Board under the said sub-section
(4)of the said Section 17 : AND WHEREAS on the 1st day of February, 1943, the Agricultural Wages Board made the Agricultural Wages (Minimum Rates) Order, 1943 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 30 of 1943) : AND WHEREAS in respect of the making of this Order, the provisions of sub-section
(7)of the said Section 17 have been complied with : NOW, the Agricultural Wages Board, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sub-section
(4)of Section 17 of the Agricultural Wages Act, 1936 (No. 53 of 1936), and every and any other power them in this behalf enabling, do hereby order as follows :— 1.—
(1)This Order may be cited as the Agricultural Wages (Minimum Rates) Order, 1943 (Revocation) Order, 1944.
(2)This Order shall come into operation on the 7th day of February,
- The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.
- The Agricultural Wages (Minimum Rates) Order, 1943 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 30 of 1943), is hereby revoked. Sealed with the Common Seal of the Agricultural Wages Board this 7th day of February,
- The Seal of the Board was affixed in the presence of (Signed) WILLIAM O'LEARY, Chairman of the Board.
