CONTROL OF IMPORTS (QUOTAS Nos. 35 AND 36) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1941 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1946. The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Control of Imports Acts, 1934 and 1937, and of every and any other power them in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows:— 1. This Order may be cited as the Control of Imports (Quotas Nos. 35 and 36) (Amendment) Order, 1941 (Amendment) Order, 1946. 2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order. 3. The Control of Imports (Quotas Nos. 35 and 36) (Amendment) Order, 1941 (S. R. & O., No. 351. of 1941), is hereby amended in the following respects— (
4. a)by the deletion in the fourth column of the First Schedule thereto of the words "Transatlantic air service" wherever those words occur and the insertion in lieu of the words "International air service"; and (
5. b)by the deletion in the Second Schedule thereto of the following— " 18. Articles in respect of which it is shown, to the satisfaction of the Revenue Commissioners, that, having regard to the purposes for which they are imported, importation thereof without payment of any duty of customs could lawfully be permitted by virtue of section 21 of the Finance Act, 1936 (No. 31 of 1936). Articles in respect of which it is shown, to the satisfaction of the Revenue Commissioners, that, having regard to the purposes for which they are imported, importation thereof without payment of any duty of customs could lawfully be permitted by virtue of section 18 of the Finance Act, 1946 (No. 15 of 1946).
