AmendmentsLeasuithe STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1946. No. 373. MENTAL TREATMENT (REGISTRATION OF PRIVATE INSTITUTIONS) ORDER, 1946. DEPARTMENT OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND PUBLIC HEALTH. MENTAL TREATMENT ACT, 1945 . The Minister for Local Government and Public Health in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 8 and 115 of the Mental Treatment Act, 1945 , with the consent of the Minister for Finance, hereby orders as follows :— 1. This Order may be cited as the Mental Treatment (Registration of Private Institutions) Order, 1946. 2. Where an application is made to the Minister for the registration under Part X of the Mental Treatment Act, 1945 , of a private institution in respect of which a licence has been granted under the Private Lunatic Asylums (Ireland) Act, 1842, for a period which will not have expired before the 1st day of January, 1947, the fee prescribed by Article 61 of the Mental Treatment (Regulations) Order, 1946, to accompany such application shall be reduced by the sum which bears the same proportion to the amount of the said prescribed fee as the unexpired period of the said licence bears to one year.
