AmendmentsLeasuithe STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1946. No. 380. DISTRICT COURT (NEW AREAS) ORDER, 1927 (VARIATION No. 97) ORDER, 1946. I, GERALD BOLAND, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection
(3)of section 47 of the Court Officers Act, 1926 (No. 27 of 1926), and of section 11 of the Court Officers Act, 1945 (No. 25 of 1945), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows :— 1.
(1)This Order may be cited as the District Court (New Areas) Order, 1927 (Variation No. 97) Order, 1946.
(2)This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of December,
- Each of the district court areas, created for the purpose of civil proceedings by the District Court (New Areas) Order, 1927 ( S. R. & O. No. 103 of 1927 ), and referred to in the Schedule to this Order, is hereby varied in the manner indicated in the third column of the Schedule. 3.
(1)Business transacted in the District Court which is initiated before the date on which this Order comes into operation and is not completed before that date shall be continued and completed in like manner as if this Order had not been made.
(2)For the purposes of this Article, business transacted in the District Court shall be regarded as being initiated on the day on which the summons, warrant, process, or other originating document relating to it is issued.
