No. 92. STATISTICS (CENSUS OF PRODUCTION) (FORMS) ORDER, 1946. THE STATISTICS (CENSUS OF PRODUCTION) (FORMS) ORDER, 1946 ,MADE BY THE MINISTER FOR INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE UNDER SUB-SECTION
(1)OF SECTION 16 of THE STATISTICS ACT, 1926 . The Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sub-section
(1)of section 16 of the Statistics Act, 1926 (No. 12 of 1926), and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, hereby orders as follows :—
- This Order may be cited as the Statistics (Census of Production) (Forms) Order,
- The forms to be used in the collection of statistics under the Statistics (Census of Production) Order, 1946 (S. R. & O., No. 60 of 1946), shall be the forms set out in the Schedule to this Order. SCHEDULE. The Schedule consists of a complete set of the forms which are used in collecting the statistics required by this Order. These form are issued gratis to the persons engaged in the industries, trades and businesses concerned, and may be purchased by the public (price 2d. each) on application to the Secretary, Department of Industry and Commerce (Statistics Branch), Lower Castle Yard (South), Dublin. The following are the industries, trades and businesses mentioned in the forms :— Form No. Industry, Trade or Business. C.P.I.1 General Return for Miscellaneous Industries. C.P.I.2 Grain Milling. C.P.I.3 Bread, Biscuit and Flour Confectionery. C.P.I.4 Creameries. C.P.I.5 Butter Factories and Margarine. C.P.I.6 Bacon Curing. C.P.I.7 Sugar, Sugar Confectionery, Preserved Fruit and Vegetables, Pickles and Sauces. C.P.I.8 Fish Curing. C.P.I.9 Aerated and Mineral Waters. C.P.I. 10 Malting. Form No. Industry, Trade or Business. C.P.I. 11 Brewing. C.P.I. 12 Distilling. C.P.I. 13 Tobacco. C.P.I. 14 Woollen and Worsted (excluding Clothing). C.P.I. 15 Linen, Cotton, Jute, Canvas and Rayon. C.P.I. 16 Fellmongery and Leather. C.P.I. 17 Hosiery. C.P.I. 18a Clothing (Wholesale Factories)—Men's and Boys' Ready-made Suits, Overcoats and Caps. C.P.I. 18b Clothing (Wholesale Factories)—Shirtmaking. C.P.I. 18c Clothing (Wholesale Factories)—Women's and Girls' Ready-made Clothing (other than Hosiery).
