AmendmentsLeasuithe STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1947. No. 209. AERATED WATERS JOINT LABOUR COMMITTEE EMPLOYMENT REGULATION ORDER, 1947. THE LABOUR COURT. INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS ACT, 1946 . SUBMISSION having been made to the Labour Court by the Aerated Waters Joint Labour Committee of the proposals set out in the Schedule hereto for fixing the minimum rates of remuneration of workers in relation to whom the Committee operates thereby amending the Order of the Minister for Industry and Commerce confirming the variation of Minimum Rates of Wages for Male and Female Workers in relation to whom the Committee operates dated the 31st day of May, 1946, and made under the provisions of the Trade Boards Acts, 1909 and 1918, which Order is deemed to be an Employment Regulation Order by virtue of the provisions of Section 54 of the Industrial Relations Act, 1946 , THE LABOUR COURT the provisions of Section 43 of the Industrial Relations Act, 1946 , having been complied with, by virtue of the powers conferred on it by the said Section 43 HEREBY ORDERS as follows :— 1. This order may be cited as the Aerated Waters Joint Labour Committee Employment Regulation Order, 1947. 2. Effect is hereby given to the proposals set out in the Schedule hereto. 3. The provisions of the Schedule hereto shall have effect as from the 16th day of May, 1947, and as from that date the said Order of the Minister for Industry and Commerce dated the 31st day of May, 1946, shall be amended accordingly. SCHEDULE. PART I. GENERAL MINIMUM TIME-RATES. Per hour. SECTION I s. d. Male Workers of 21 years of age and over 1 9½ " " 20 and under 21 years of age 1 6 " " 19 " 20 " " 1 3 " " 18 " 19 " " 1 ½ " " 17 " 18 " " 10½ " " 16 " 17 " " 10 " "under 16 years of age 8½ Per hour SECTION II s. d. Female Workers of 18 years of age and over 1 0½ " " 17 and under 18 years of age 10½ " " 16 " 17 " " 10 " under 16 years of age 8½ Note : In the case of workers employed on piece-work each piece-rate paid must be such as would yield, in the circumstances of the case, to an ordinary worker not less than the appropriate General Minimum Time-Rate.
