AmendmentsLeasuithe STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1947. No. 59. LOCAL AUTHORITIES (TRAVELLING EXPENSES OF MEMBERS) ORDER, 1947. DEPARTMENT OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT. LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT, 1941 . The Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers vested in him by sub-section
(2)of Section 80 of the Local Government Act, 1941 , hereby orders as follows :—
- This Order may be cited as the Local Authorities (Travelling Expenses of Members) Order,
- Section 80 of the Local Government Act, 1941 shall apply to a visiting committee of a district mental hospital appointed by a mental hospital authority under Section 96 of the Mental Treatment Act, 1945 . GIVEN under the Official Seal of the Minister for Local Government this fourth day of February One Thousand Nine Hundred and Forty-seven. (Signed) J.
