AN ACT TO EXTEND THE CURRENT TERM OF OFFICE OF MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL NURSING COUNCIL. [18th December, 1948.] BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS AS FOLLOWS:— Extension of current term of office. 1.—The term of office of members of the General Nursing Council which is current at the passing of this Act is hereby extended until such day as may be fixed by the Minister for Health by order. Short title and collective citation. 2.—
(1)This Act may be cited as the Nurses Registration Act, 1948.
(2)The Nurses Registration (Ireland) Act, 1919, and this Act may be cited together as the Nurses Registration Acts, 1919 and 1948.
