AmendmentsLeasuithe S.I. No. 105 of 1948. LOCAL GOVERNMENT (SUPERANNUATION) ACT, 1948 (DATE OF COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1948. WHEREAS by Section 4 of the Local Government (Superannuation) Act, 1948 (hereinafter called " the Act ") it is enacted that Part II of the Act shall come into operation on such day as the Minister for Local Government by order appoints for that purpose : NOW THEREFORE the Minister for Local Government in exercise of the power so conferred on him, hereby orders as follows :— 1. This Order may be cited as the Local Government (Superannuation) Act, 1948 (Date of Commencement) Order, 1948. 2. Part II of the Act shall come into operation on the 1st day of April, 1948.
