DUBLIN PUBLIC ASSISTANCE AUTHORITIES (MEETINGS) ORDER, 1948. WHEREAS difficulties have arisen in regard to the first meetings after the elections held in the year 1948 pursuant to the Local Government (Dublin) Act, 1945 (No. 8 of 1945) of the members of the Balrothery Board of Assistance, the Dublin Board of Assistance and the Rathdown Board of Assistance : AND WHEREAS it appears to the Minister for Local Government to be necessary and proper to meet or remove such difficulties as in manner hereinafter appearing : NOW THEREFORE the Minister for Local Government in exercise of the powers vested in him by paragraph (
- f)of subsection
(1)of section 9 of the Public Assistance Act, 1939 (No. 27 of 1939) hereby orders as follows :—
- This Order may be cited as the Dublin Public Assistance Authorities (Meetings) Order,
- The first meeting of the Dublin Board of Assistance after the election of members of the said Board held in the year 1948 pursuant to subsection
(2)of section 6 of the Local Government (Dublin) Act, 1945 , shall be held on the fourteenth day after the said members come into office and shall be an annual meeting. 3. The first meeting of the Balrothery Board of Assistance after the election of members of the said Board held in the year 1948 pursuant to subsection
(2)of section 8 of the Local Government (Dublin) Act, 1945 , shall be held on the twelfth day after the election of the said members and shall be an annual meeting. 4. The first meeting of the Rathdown Board of Assistance after the election of members of the said Board held in the year 1948 pursuant to subsection
(2)of section 7 of the Local Government (Dublin) Act, 1945 , shall be held on the sixteenth day after the election of the said members and shall be an annual meeting.
