AmendmentsLeasuithe S.I. No. 366 of 1948. IRISH NATIONALITY AND CITIZENSHIP (AMENDMENT OF FEES) REGULATIONS, 1948. I, SEÁN MACBRIDE, Minister for External Affairs, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Irish Nationality and Citizenship Act, 1935 (No. 13 of 1935), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby, with the consent of the Minister for Finance, testified by his Official Seal affixed hereto, make the following regulations : 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Irish Nationality and Citizenship (Amendment of Fees) Regulations, 1948. 2. The Foreign Births Entry Book Regulations, 1935 ( S. R. & O. No. 147 of 1935 ), are hereby amended— (
- a)by the substitution in paragraph
(1)of Regulation 7 of " five shillings " for " two shillings and sixpence " ; (b) by the substitution in paragraph
(2)of Regulation 7 of " one pound and ten shillings " for " one pound " ; (
- c)by the substitution in Regulation 8 of " two shillings and sixpence " for " one shilling"; (
- d)by the substitution in paragraph
(1)of Regulation 9 of two shillings and sixpence " for " one shilling " ; (e) by the substitution in paragraph
(2)of Regulation 9 of " five shillings " for " two shillings and sixpence." 3. The Northern Ireland Births Register Regulations, 1935 ( S. R. & O. No. 148 of 1935 ), are hereby amended— (a) by the substitution in paragraph
(1)of Regulation 8 of " five shillings " for " two shillings and sixpence " ; (b) by the substitution in paragraph
(2)of Regulation 8 of " one pound and ten shillings " for " one pound " ; (
- c)by the substitution in Regulation 9 of " two shillings and sixpence " for " one shilling"; (
- d)by the substitution in paragraph
(1)of Regulation 10 of " two shillings and sixpence " for " one shilling " ; (e) by the substitution in paragraph
(2)of Regulation 10 of " five shillings " for " two shillings and sixpence." 4. The Foreign Births Register Regulations, 1935 ( S. R. & O. No. 149 of 1935 ), are hereby amended— (a) by the substitution in paragraph
(1)of Regulation 9 of " five shillings " for " two shillings and sixpence " ; (b) by the substitution in paragraph
(2)of Regulation 9 of " one pound and ten shillings " for " one pound " ; (
- c)by the substitution in Regulation 10 of " two shillings and sixpence " for " one shilling"; (
- d)by the substitution in paragraph
(1)of Regulation 11 of " two shillings and sixpence " for " one shilling " ; (e) by the substitution in paragraph
(2)of Regulation 11 of " five shillings " for " two shillings and sixpence." 5. The Register of Nationals Regulations, 1935 ( S. R. & O. No. 150 of 1935 ), are hereby amended— (a) by the substitution in paragraph
(1)of Regulation 7 of " five shillings " for " two shillings and sixpence " ; (b) by the substitution in paragraph
(2)of Regulation 7 of " one pound and ten shillings " for " one pound " ; (
- c)by the substitution in Regulation 8 of " two shillings and sixpence " for " one shilling " ; (
- d)by the substitution in paragraph
(1)of Regulation 9 of " two shillings and sixpence " for " one shilling " ; (e) by the substitution in paragraph
(2)of Regulation 9 of " five shillings " for " two shillings and sixpence." 6. The General Register of Nationals Regulations, 1935 ( S. R. & O. No. 151 of 1935 ), are hereby amended— (a) by the substitution in paragraph
(1)of Regulation 9 of " one pound and ten shillings " for " one pound " ; (
- b)by the substitution in Regulation 10 of " two shillings and sixpence " for " one shilling"; (
- c)by the substitution in paragraph
(1)of Regulation 11 of " two shillings and sixpence " for " one shilling " ; (d) by the substitution in paragraph
(2)of Regulation 11 of " five shillings " for " two shillings and sixpence." GIVEN under my Official Seal, this 14th day of October,
