MERCHANDISE MARKS ACT, 1931 (SECTION 20) (AIR MAIL POSTAGE STAMPS EXEMPTION) ORDER, 1948. I, DANIEL MORRISSEY, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 20 of the Merchandise Marks Act, 1931 (No. 48 of 1931), being satisfied that, having regard to the trade in the goods mentioned in the Schedule to this Order, the exemption of such goods from the provisions of section 20 of the said Act is desirable and would not materially prejudice public interests in the State, hereby order as follows :— 1. This Order may be cited as the Merchandise Marks Act, 1931 (Section 20) (Air Mail Postage Stamps Exemption) Order, 1948. 2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order. 3. The goods mentioned in the Schedule to this Order are hereby exempted from the provisions of section 20 of the Merchandise Marks Act, 1931 (No. 48 of 1931). SCHEDULE. AIR MAIL POSTAGE STAMPS.
