NATIONAL HEALTH COUNCIL (ESTABLISHMENT) ORDER, 1948. The Minister for Health in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 98 of the Health Act, 1947 (No. 28 of 1947) hereby orders as follows :— 1. A council to be called " The National Health Council " is hereby established to give to the Minister for Health when so required by him advice on matters affecting or incidental to the health of the people. 2. Each of the persons named in the Schedule hereto is hereby appointed to be a member of the National Health Council. 3. Every member of the National Health Council appointed to be a member by this Order shall hold office (unless he sooner dies, resigns or is removed by the Minister) for a period of two years commencing on the date of this Order. 4.
