TRANSPORT ACT, 1944 (ALTERATION OF MAXIMUM RAILWAY CHARGES OF THE GREAT NORTHERN RAILWAY COMPANY (IRELAND)) ORDER, 1949. I, DANIEL MORRISSEY, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 89 of the Transport Act, 1944 (No. 21 of 1944), hereby order as follows : 1. This Order may be cited as the Transport Act, 1944 (Alteration of Maximum Railway Charges of the Great Northern Railway Company (Ireland)) Order, 1949. 2. The maximum charges applicable to the Great Northern Railway Company (Ireland) for traffic by rail are hereby altered by the substitution of the charges set out in the Schedule to this Order for the appropriate charges at present in operation and the altered charges shall come into operation on the 1st day of May, 1949. SCHEDULE. (
- i)Charges for the conveyance of Passengers. For single journey charge per mile For return journey charge per mile d. d.
