DILLON, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Article 31 of the Emergency Powers Order, 1939 (S. R. & O. No. 224 of 1939), as amended by the Emergency Powers (No. 173) Order, 1942 (S. R. & O. No. 166 of 1942) (which Orders are continued in force by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946) ), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows :— 1.
(1)This Order may be cited as the Roll Butter Order, 1951.
(2)This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of May, 1951. 2. This Order applies to any roll butter which is creamery butter within the meaning of the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1935 (No. 21 of 1935) and which is not butter duly contained in wrappers issued by the Minister for Agriculture in the form prescribed by the Dairy Produce Act, 1924 (Regulations under Part III) (Amendment) Order, 1950 ( S.I. No. 129 of 1950 ) as amended by the Dairy Produce Act, 1924 (Regulations under Part III) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order, 1950 ( S.I. No. 223 of 1950 ). 3. No person shall sell by wholesale butter to which this Order applies at a price exceeding— (
- a)where the quantity sold equals or exceeds 5 cwt., 297/-per cwt.; (
- b)where the quantity sold is less than 5 cwt., 301/-per cwt. 4. Where butter to which this Order applies is sold wholesale and the purchaser requests the vendor to deliver it to specified premises, the vendor shall deliver such butter free of charge either, as the vendor elects, to such premises or to the railway station nearest to such premises. 5. The Roll butter Order, 1947 (S.R. and O., No. 156 of 1947) and the Roll Butter Order, 1947 (Amendment) Order, 1950 ( S.I. No. 131 of 1950 ) are hereby revoked.
