FLOUR AND BREAD (RATIONING) ORDER, 1946 (SUPPLEMENTAL PROVISIONS) (HARVEST PERIOD) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1951. I, SEÁN F. LEMASS, Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Article 31 of the Emergency Powers Order, 1939 (S. R. & O. No. 224 of 1939), as amended by the Emergency Powers (No. 173) Order, 1942 (S. R. & O. No. 166 of 1942) (which orders are continued in force by the Supplies and Services (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1946 (No. 22 of 1946)), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows :— 1. This Order may be cited as the Flour and Bread (Rationing) Order, 1946 (Supplemental Provisions) (Harvest Period) (Amendment) Order, 1951. 2. The Flour and Bread (Rationing) Order, 1946 (Supplemental Provisions) (Harvest Period) Order, 1951 ( S.I. No. 231 of 1951 ), is hereby amended : (
- a)by the substitution in Article 2 for the definition of " harvest period " of the following— " the expression ` the harvest period ' means the period of nine weeks ending on Friday the 12th day of October, 1951 ;", (
- b)by the insertion, in paragraph
(2)of Article 5, immediately after the letter and figure " S.7 " of the letters and figures " S.8 " and " S.9 ", and (c) by the insertion, in paragraph
(2)of Article 6, immediately after the letter and figure " S.7 " of the letters and figures " S.8 " and " S.9 ", and (d) by the addition, after subparagraph (g) of paragraph
(2)of the said Article 6, of the following— " (
- h)in case the coupon is marked ' S.8 ', the week ending the 5th day of October, 1951, (
- i)in case the coupon is marked ' S.9 ', the week ending the 12th day of October, 1951 ". GIVEN under my Official Seal this 25th day of September, 1951. (Signed) SEÁN F.
