No. 362 of 1951. HOUSING (LOAN CHARGES CONTRIBUTIONS) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1951. The Minister for Local Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 14 of the Housing (Financial and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1932 , and in exercise of all other powers enabling him in this behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations :— 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Housing (Loan Charges Contributions) (Amendment) Regulations, 1951, and shall be read and construed as one with the Housing (Loan Charges Contributions) Regulations, 1932 and 1938, and may be cited together therewith as the Housing (Loan Charges Contributions) Regulations, 1932 to 1951. 2. In these Regulations, the expression " scheme to which these Regulations apply " means— (
4. a)as respects the Corporations of the County Boroughs of Dublin and Cork, a scheme for the provision of houses or other housing accommodation not being a scheme completed on or before the 31st day of October, 1950, or a scheme under which houses or other housing accommodation were in course of construction on the 31st day of October, 1950, and (
5. b)as respects any other housing authority within the meaning of the Housing (Amendment) Act, 1948 , (No. 1 of 1948) a scheme for the provision of houses, cottages or other housing accommodation the expenses of which are defrayed out of moneys borrowed with the sanction of the Minister given after the 31st day of October, 1950. 3. Article 5 of the Housing (Loan Charges Contributions) Regulations, 1932, (S.R. & O., 1932 No. 96) as amended by the Housing (Loan Charges Contributions) (Amendment) Regulations, 1938, (S.R. & O., 1938 No. 26) shall in its application to a scheme to which these Regulations apply have effect with the following amendments :— (
6. a)In sub-paragraph (
7. i)of paragraph (b), " £1,400 " shall be substituted for " £500 ". (
8. b)In sub-paragraph (
9. ii)of paragraph (b), " £1,000 " shall be substituted for " £400 " and " £950 " shall be substituted for " £350 ". (
10. c)In paragraph (c), " £1,000 " shall be substituted for " £450 " and " £950 " shall be substituted for " £350 ". (
11. d)In paragraph (d), all the words after the word " multiplied " shall be deleted and the following words shall be substituted therefor :— " where each tenement is provided with a piped water supply and sewage disposal system by £950 and in any other case by £800 ". 4. Sub-article
